The fight of the parents is praiseworthy. So is the resilience of the lady. However the entire story and narration and every news byte is very very one sided with only Sagarikas version. While the bravery of Sagarika is commendable, there is very little matter on Abhirup. I cannot believe he is not in pain due to being away from his kids. It is not so that only a particular gender can have more heart than the other. Some show emotions while others weep in the rain so that people can’t see them crying. Somethings which are troubling in this interview are the fact that a mother is talking on national television about kids hating their father. Well even if this is true a real human being with high ideals would rather not let negativity about any parent creep into their children. This in itself will have long lasting effects on the child when he/she grows up. As parents it should be responsibility of whichever parent has custody to not instill or allow prosperity of anti-feelings against the other parent. With all the fight Sagarika has shown , she would be exemplary further if she can show grace and part amicably. Holding on to something against your husband for 12 years and deriding him will only pull you down. I am sure he has his story.
