Nice video Jesse. I hope that in near future you will do following videos:
1. Complete rebuild of the front suspention on x300
2. Front wheel bearing replacement
3. Rear suspention rebuild
4. Rear wheel bearing replacement
Without any special factory tools if possible.
This is the job that i need to do my on mine jag too.
I am currently replacing my diff output shaft bearings on my XJ40, because the car was doing a lot of noise on the road. Don't be like me and replace all 4 wheels bearings before knowing/understanding that the noise was from the diff output bearings. Simply Performance (uk jag specialist and shop on ebay) has the kit to rebuild your own diff output shafts. If the car has 160000km (100000 miles) or more and you don't have a receipt showing that it has been done, then it is more than likely needed.
@@alexandrecouture2462 i have purchased the whole new diff from simplyperformace, so the diff is OK. I know for a fact that the wheel bearings are bad especially the rear ones.

I hear the rear shocks are a bit more difficult to replace. I’m yet to tackle this job on my 97 xjr

We need to have a reference for the rear although it looks a bit harder. The only video showing someone performing the repair has no audio and no directions!

Man I have been watching all your videos looking for 1997 jaguar XJ6 L the can make it to start the car the alarm won't work with fob or key the car won't Crank in you experience with this type cars you think is the security module or something else's fault.
I check battery I check fuses relays and everything looks good I try to start the car directly from the starter and car start right away.
did ur engine also leak slighty like mine if so did u ever fix it i beleive my seal might be bad leaks directly out the front right side ive see other ppls who also leak in the same spot my oil does deplete slowly but its not like spewing out or nothing, just curious
