Very nice work mate! Awesome car build 👌🏽 i did notice something in the teardown it looked like your main caps were getting loose in their registrar's and starting to fret a little. Maybe something to keep an eye out for in the future 👍🏽

@@alltrac101 Sweet! Lost touch with him after he closed up that shop. Last time I saw him he was all in with the HP racing people and the civic. I used to have a red st161 FWD that I dropped in a 3sgte. My bud had a dark silver Camry with the 3SFE and threw on Lances turbo kit. ✌🏼
They’re not off the shelf spec in testing phase, so can’t reveal currently. Even with the 272 cams it never liked idling below 12-1300 because of the light FW

5s block. Couldn’t tell you on the 3S block, haven’t used one in over 2 decades. 🤣

THANKS FOR SHARING...What Gen is that 3sgte Block, what clearance you running on bearings for 10k rpm...people keep saying that this blocks will crack beyond 400 to 500hp...have you had this experience? i gave Gen5 3sgte, my goal is 600whp and rev to 9k rpm for street use...Thanks in advance
Hey. Appreciate you watching and commenting! It’s a 5S block with clearance on the looser side of spec. Keep the knock out of the motor and it will live longer.
I have similar build. I use 35 and thinking going to 38 as mine is 2.2L stroker with HKS billet crank. Biggest problem is gearbox, i killed 2 x 153, what gear set you have to put so much power thru it?

@bisser6969 I ran the Frana gear set successfully for 10 yrs, had some minor prototype issues, switched to sqs and had different issues. I’m on instagram (alltrac101), you can follow me if you’d like…I post a little more there.

The 3s are cracking even on 350-400hp depends how used they are.... We had two engine block break at the last bolt even on running in the engine
Everyone in the 3S society knows that all the big power 3s engines are built with 5s block.

How is the half size rad treating u on street cruising in this Florida heat?
