Very informative. I just like watching the hammies 💕
Aww glad you like to see the hammies. Have to admit they were all looking particularly cute in this video🙃😁
Great video as always! It was interesting to see all of the bedding types side by side! ❤🐹
Thank you. When I used to belong to a hamster forum it was really hard to try and get across to people all the different bag sizes, especially when some are in kg and some in litres. You can't really compare like with like, it doesn't work like that when you are working with different types of bedding. But hopefully when they see it visually it shows people what they can get for their money.
Great video, I use the megazorb the weird smell does dissipate especially when you add forage. I gifted my aubios it was crazy dusty I couldn’t breath. I like the idea of using coloured bedding as a topper that looks really good.
Yes I can't breathe with aubiose either. Yes I definitely recommend just getting a small bag of colour bedding if you want to brighten up a cage.
This is a very helpful video. I always used to use Kaytee but found it to be very dusty. I now use Fitch and prefer it. I agree it is more expensive which is a shame. I have found it is great for holding tunnels. 😊
It's so hot and miss with kaytee. I tried it years ago, got one bag and it was fine and then the next were so dusty I gave up. This time around not had one dusty bag yet. 🤞 At the moment if I can get it for £17 to £20 bag (using Amazon subscribe and save) that's a big saving compared to fitchfirst. Otherwise I would still be using fitchfirst
@@CosmicHamsters That is a great price! 😊
@@googleemail2368I know.
I use the huge bag of teabag bedding from carcroft pet supplies :) lasts ages for my hamster and gerbils
Yes I know lots of people use teabag bedding, I understand it can work out quite cheap I just don't use it myself cos I can't compost it due to plastics.
i tried tea bag bedding but was very disappointed with it , i much prefer using fitch bedding for my hamsters .
I've never used the tea bag bedding and don't recommend it myself due to plastics being involved in the processing of many tea bags which means I can't compost it like I can other bedding. Fitch was my favourite just such a shame it has shot up in price.
