Bertolf - Bluefinger | TFOA Sessions Live Performance

🎸 Before the release of his new record 'Bluefinger', Bertolf and his band performed an exclusive try-out concert in our old villa. In a building older than Bill Monroe himself and surrounded by vintage, acoustic instruments, we had the pleasure of enjoying the music-style that suits this environment best: Bluegrass!
From his earliest years he has been listening to and playing this ‘purely natural’ acoustic country music variant, which is so demanding to the musicians, it turns their fingers blue. Hence the album title ‘Bluefinger’ (also hinting at the nickname of his fellow townsmen in the historical city of Zwolle). It marks his ‘Best Of’ album with his favourite songs over the years plus some new ones.
By now the record has been out for a while and Bertolf's tour is in full swing! For those of you that haven't witnessed this power-house band yet, please treat yourself and do so. If you ask Bertolf: "Everybody loves bluegrass, many just don't realise it yet...".

Wauw, prachtig! Ik ben erg fan van Bluegrass muziek kan er 24/7 naar luisteren en dit komt er zeker bij.
De stijl zoals jullie spelen doet mij erg veel denken aan de band: Breaking grass en Unspoken Tradition.
