LEGO Stop Motion | Viking Fight

  • Made this earlier, thought you guys might enjoy! I've been experimenting with 24 fps, which gives a lot smoother of a walk cycle. For this particular film, I used 24 fps and 15 fps interchangeably, with the fight scene using 15 fps and the walk cycles using 24.
    If you came down this far, here's some candy. O - It's a candy ring.

      Thanks!! I've found that one of the greatest tips for animating is don't try to make it "perfect". I've been in situations where I would try to get a scene just "right", and inevitably, it never reached what I envisioned. Another pretty basic tip is easing in and out (start the movement slow and speed up, and then slow down again). This creates the illusion of weight, and makes it smoother!

      @@Luckystreak Yeah I use Dragonframe. I used to use my phone for all my stop motions, but recently I decided to upgrade and it’s been a complete game changer! It’s a lot easier to quickly make good looking stop motions with it.

      I believe it was at 15, and then slowed to 12 for the fight
