Great video! For this mount, if you need a drop of, let’s say 6 or 7 inches, is it possible? The two initial pieces were about 5 inches but it looks like if you add the additional poles it would drop down too far

It would help to address how to deal with very high ceilings, such as 12', and how to determine if this is possible for a given projector.
Yeah I just don’t have a high ceiling to demo. Maybe I can put together some recommendations. Good idea 👍
How can one install in higher ceilings? (Ours is 12' high)
Hey, I just mounted the x3000i with this mount today. I didn't have a drill bit the right size to get the anchors in and didnt want to risk forcing them with a hammer so I just put the 4 bolts it came with in with 2 in a joist. You think thats good or should I readjust? Also Im assuming the anchors arent meant to go into a joist anyways right?
Are they lag bolts? If so the lag bolts go right in to the wood and the anchors and screws go in drywall. No need for the anchors if they can all go in wood. Let me know if that works or message me on my TheDaingeon Facebook page and I’ll help you some more 👍
@@thedaingeon All 4 are the bolts that come with the mount. 2 are just in the drywall and 2 are into a joist as well. The manual sort of implies that they all go into wood with the anchors but it also refers to the ceiling as the wall repeatedly so the translation isnt great.
@frostycanadian7311 you shouldnt have 2/4 bolts just hanging in the drywall. Get anchors for those 2 or its going to fall out.
Where did you get the power to run the projecter?
In this video we use an extension cord and power strip mounted to the window edge. That is until we find time to run a legit wall outlet and punch some hole in the drywall
I have a rookie question: if my pc is 60hz of frame rate and I connect it to this projector, if the game supports 120 hz it will project on 120hz? Or 60hz that is the max my pc can handle?
What game and what graphics card?

@@thedaingeon I think, it does not have 2.0 but maybe 1.4, it will work or can I install an adapter or something?
