If you push the button on the esc 5 times it unlocks the turbo mode. It will do about 45 when you unlock that feature. It's just like the mix version.

The one thing that keeps me interested in Traxxas is their designs. They factorvin mounting points for such things as wheelie bars, lights and other add on assories. There is no drilling, no muss no fuss. Most of their upgrades include the hardware, longer screws, nuts etc. As far as those brands, getting spare parts takes a long time. When I was into WL Toys , I had the foresight to order those parts I was pretty sure I would need, simply because I didn't like to wait forever for repair parts. I like to go to my local RC dealer and support his business. I get great advice and do not have to wait a month for shipping. I also do not have to worry about shipping. Resale value can also be a factor here. If I decide I do not get into crawling, I can make better money reselling Traxxas over a WL Toys vehicle. This goes for trading as well. I have done several trades so far and get better deals with Traxxas or Axial . No one wants to trade for a WL product. You get what you pay for, even with resale value.
That's a really impressive build quality! If I had space for another RC truck, that would be a very strong candidate to buy! I still have my old WL Toys 12428 Green machine, and have upgraded it's receiver/ESC, and I picked up a rebranded one in orange that some Canadian company was selling, which I got for cheap when said company went out of business. But TRSL14210 reminds me a lot of that WL Toys in how innovative it was and the quality for its time. The numbering scheme is even similar!

Tower Hobby has a 1:14 buggy similar in design to this DeeRC for the same price. The Reflex 14B by Team Associated. Perhaps you should compare the two units against each other.

Part availability is a problem with Amazon budget rc
It's not that bad. I bought a Match a few years ago, and they are really well constructed. I got replacement parts in 2 days.
I'm into the cheaper stuff at the moment, because budget. We know how that is, lol. I cannot get this shipped to me from amazon. Either way, I like this enough. Thanks for sharing. However, I found it on Ebay, but the Ebay price seems insane, or I misread, lol.

lol. People who are into $1000 RC cars make me laugh. You can get the same enjoyment/performance out of a $100 Wltoys RC car.
I recommend the Wltoys 124008.
PS. Try flying a plane, drone, helicopter or run a boat on a lake. So much more exhilarating and fun. RC Cars are for children.

The link takes you to a truck that says 50mph and it says you need to do 5 clicks on the esc to unleash full power.
It says, "max 50 mph." I have one that blows this one away, and it might hit 50 mph.
I assume that this is essentially the same as the Hyper Go car?
they are ok but biggest bang for your buck is the arrma infraction 3s. i do have like 10 deerc's as well lol.
I have the Typhon and upgraded it to the max it could take. It's waaaay too much power for a track car but screams down my street!!!

Nah, it’s something called “henna” and I may even be wrong about that spelling. We had a local festival and it was something fun for her to do with our daughter. Looks nice, but the irony of the title is that on the link they claim this has a top speed of 50+ mph and that's a bigger exaggeration than Traxxas makes lol. I missed seeing you guys post RC cars. I'm not really into planes yet. About the video, I always question the big name brand RC companies because I don't understand how small companies can make great rcs with sooo much more bang for the buck. I feel that they have been ripping us all off for decades

I don't mind paying a premium price for a premium product. Traxxas used to be the way to go if you wanted the best and most innovative. It's all I'd buy. Not anymore. Now they are just the most greedy. Until the most recent price hike i thought the Xmaxx and XRT were the only trucks they sold that were priced according to the competition. I guess Traxxass noticed that also and decided to add worse tires and charge more. Strangely i noticed the $100 price increase is noticeably more than the price difference of the old Xmaxx tires and the new ones. I still have a Xmaxx and TRX6 but i am still proudly a Traxxas hater. Every overpriced crap new truck they release just makes it easier and easier for me. The last 3 cars they've came out with have been among the very worst in company history. It's like they are clowning us. Just seeing how much they can charge for awful cars and folks still buy them. Hopefully everyone will wake up and force them to go back to being industry leaders or disappear. I'm to the point i don't care either way. There are a lot of companies building great rigs for rational prices. Traxxass needs us way more than we need them.

@@Clavitz1 the snap on car, Maxx Slash, and pathetic little "monster truck". I'd have to go back to the XRT for a new basher from Traxxas that was good and I still prefer the Kraton for a big truggy.
OEM by mjx rc I'm sure looks identical to Thier truggy I guarantee you look at the manual and it will have the same address another company also comes from that building as well

Ya know, I saw that on another video after we recorded this. I wish they’d have made that a bit more clear, but it’s okay! I think we will be doing more with this RC in the future and it definitely deserves a quick follow up for that speed boost! 👍💯😎⚓️

Is it just a rebranding of MJX 14210? I owned one but sold it. I prefer their smaller 16 scale cars. The 14 scales cars are overpowered and the steering system is not working very well. 16208 performs much better especially on 2s batteries. I don't think the aluminum chassis really helps on such a small scale car.
Yeah they branded the heck out of that truck. But I agree the 16207/08/09/10 models from MJX are just better dialed in right out of the box. I've got two of them and a 14210.
Well....there goes the chances of seeying a Traxxas here , for a while . Yes, their batteries suck lol & outdated by today's standards but it was pretty much all we had then , which brings many of us back to have a couple of them around. There is no better or best , they all break in time . Parts avail for both top brands is a good thing & if we only knew how much cost per vehicle in production & the markup on our Toys , we'd stop the madness of paying their prices.
lol that’s not true. We can feature Traxxas stuff on our channel. Just remember, they tried to shut our channel down with lawyers for freedom of speech but failed Hard!! I can buy their stuff and feature it for what it is, but people should truly know where their money is going when they buy stuff. Once a person knows, if they still want to support that company, that’s on them. They charge what they do because they are more focussed on lawsuits to get where they are than product development. 💯⚓️

Why won't Traxxas make a product like this ? Simple its called " GREED " Traxxas can make a product like this that's tough and rugged but they never will. I feel like all Traxxas vehicles are meant to fail sooner or later for if they didn't there wouldn't be no replacement parts business. Greed is the driving force here, make it cheap, but good enough till you push the limits and something breaks now they can charge whatever they want. Better yet make it proprietary now your forced to only by from them !! Traxxas does a great job of hyping up there products, bright paint jobs insane aluminum wheels packages exc. This then hypes you up to make that $800.00 purchase. Even after you break it they know that you'll be back for more...... Traxxas's annual revenue is $37.5M Corporate Greed at its best !!!

PS. I am big into all RC Toys including drones/quadcopters, planes, boats and cars/trucks. All require some level of skill but rc cars/trucks require the LEAST amount of skill which explains why there are so many people who will pay $1000 to drive forward backward left right.
I'm with you. Love my rc planes and helicopters. But I can haul a$$ on my street with my two upgraded racers. Grandkids love them.

Just a quick note. Tried to find out where DRC is made, no leads. Well made entry-level cars are great, but you can't compare that to a $1000 XMAXX, give your car to THUNDER RC or Kevin Talbot to test. Aluminum chassis can bend when bashed and generally are expensive to replace. I buy mostly Traxxas because they have great products and have assembled in the USA. The only company that has anything to do with something done in America. You asked so... to all

For the most part most of the rc cars are the same the difference is the quality of plastic and aluminum that is use and then the electronics but and as far as traxxas the make sure that you can only you traxxas parts and upgrade parts
