🐠 Did you know that there is a proposed third species of manta ray? Yes, you heard that right!
🌊 The putative ‘Caribbean’ manta ray (Mobula cf. birostris) is sympatric to the oceanic manta ray in the region, yet appears to occupy a similar niche to the reef manta ray.
🎉 Our affiliate, the Manta Caribbean Project, has been working hard to better understand this species for over 10 years in the Mexican Caribbean.

This is beautiful, as a Brit I’m so jealous but hopefully within 24 months I will escape my tired old country and help to educate others from nations that will make the future brighter than it currently is for all.
