I just adore your Kiwi and Pixel. Parakeets have such wonderful little personalities and are so sweet. Hoping to get some soon. How much time did it take to teach them to talk and would it be OK...no fighting, etc. to keep 4 or 5 together? I will have a flight cage plus I plan on choosing birds from the same cage at our local petsmart. I know that some say that's not a good place to buy, but I have no breeders close by...live in bumf**k Eygpt, ha ha...rather rural town in Mississippi. I plan on letting them out very occasionally because I have a rescue pitty that could harm them. Don't want to put them at risk. Any advice will be appreciated...haven't had parakeets since I was 11...am 63 now. SO much change since then.

If you get 4-5, there is zero chance of them talking, unfortunately. The only reason ours talk is because we had a single bird for 3+ years before getting our second one, and the first one taught the second to talk. Not sure about taming since ours were hand raised. Sorry to not be of more help!

Loveye are Your's and Mine . Can't get enouch of this Little birds . Also i have many pictures of them and short video's . and also i wanna make a video if they are out the cage. only it takes a while to do this . last time happend something when i was out. and someone was with them , i must get there trust again. mow i let them go out to fly and do anything out the cage , only now trying again with the video's. Also get kisses from them. Love every video of you and they are very cute , like mine . your's remebering at my Own Parakeets . they are so Lovely and Beautiful thanks for the nice video's !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
