Thanks for joining me this week! What are you working on this week? Have you test knit before?

Another wonderful episode! I can't wait for Lauder to be released so I can knit one!! I've done a few test knits now. I enjoy it so much, but try to stick to one at a time or it gets a bit stressful to try and finish them on time. 😊

I was just recently asked to test knit something, but I'm afraid of not finishing on time. I'm really a sloth knitter and knitting is my hobby and relaxation. Felt the deadline might make me stressed. Had to decline

@@user-mu5sb5rb2b There will always be another time! I’ve seen many designers that give a 12+ week deadline. ☺️

The Lauder cardigan looks like its going to be so cosy! I've only test knit a handful of smaller projects but definitely enjoyed them. One thing that puts me off is I'm knitting on a budget so would only test knit something if I had some yarn in stash that's suitable, but I have managed that a few times.

You can definitely always use more affordable yarns too! Have you tried anything from Knit Picks before? Wool & Co also has a ton of affordable yarns (and free shipping USA wide which really helps!)

@@birchandlily thank you! I'm not in the US, so not sure I'd want to add shipping costs onto yarn purchases, but I've been using quite a bit of Drops which I can get quite affordably here if need be. Other than that is just diving into my stash or using stuff others have passed on to me!

@@yorkshirenome ohh I love drops! Wish it was easier to get here. But stash is always great too! It’s fun to hunt around and see what you can come up with!

@@birchandlily yes definitely, I have more than enough to keep me going anyway, even if it's not the best quality yarn 😂

Awe thank you! It's super easy to do, just a triple barrel curling iron. Takes me like 10 minutes!
