- A-ha performs their song “Stay on these roads” at the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Concert. The band formed in 1982 and is most known for their major hit “Take On Me”, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in October 1985. A-ha has sold over 40 million albums and over 70 million singles. The band split in 2010, but re-united in 2015 and is performing five of their largest hits at this year’s Nobel Peace Prize Concert.

I agree, this is such a great song, I love him singing this more recently, like in this show, better than even the original recording. He still sounds beautiful singing it at 58. I was in tears watching a video of him singing this in the Latvia show on their recent summer tour.

This song haunts my every waking moment.. I cannot sleep because of it... Why? My father used to torment my mum with this song.. He knew she had miscarried in her life.. So he would sing "still-born my child..." He would change the lyrics to hurt my mum, toi make her weep,..... I miss her... I love her... I lost her to cancer 15 years ago.. Only 47 when she died... She was so SO kind and loving... She didn't deserve that abuse... This song haunts me every waking moment of my life... It's how I feel about my mum... I'm so sorry that I couldn't save you... I live with the regret and pain every day of my life...
