- Crypto has always had the ability to use his drone to pick up banners, but back in season 6, they gave him the ability to use his drone to respawn teammates. This was game changing, and made Crypto the only legend in the game that is able to grab banners remotely and respawn people remotely (as well as instantly) with his drone. To me, I view Crypto as a Recon/Support Legend. His kit is mainly geared for Recon, but his banner grabbing and respawning ability allow him to fill a Support Legend role as well (his EMP being his assault part of his kit). Crypto is a very versatile legend and once you matser his kit you can fill a bunch of different roles in the squad.
In this video, I show that Crypto is a Recon/Support type legend and also we continue the Road to Master series!

Started maining crypto because of your tips and it’s funny how many people are shocked in game chat that he’s actually good lol
Crypto is insane. My squad is always relying on my callouts for squads in the area. We play according to that number always. I get easy banner grabs and respawns since I always got that mobile. We constantly play based off scan beacon for aggressive plays or to know when to bunker up. I can beam people through smoke and lastly we always know we can get advantage at any point with my emp. Or deny a rush with my emp. Crypto is truly the Swiss Army knife of characters. Definitely not a wasted pick.

His interactions with windows is so good too, theres a ton of buildings on worlds edge and broken moon where teams will just get perma scanned if they're holding a building

Great video, I haven't played Crypto that much and I was wondering in yours/anyone elses experience what comps work well with Cryptos new kit? Main thing that comes to mind is Crypto/Octane/Alter for a get in and get out style although it is biased since I main Octane.

When you are snagging banners and respawning, are you just mashing rb or holding it or what? A lot of times I miss the banner because my drone gets shot while I’m trying to grab the banner
I've found the only legend I really want to play in ranked so far has been crypto. I'm not as fluid as you are at popping an emp and pushing in quickly but I'm getting there. I'm also learning to use my paddles more. NGL...It's hard to get used to playing with back buttons when I've used regular controllers my whole life but everyone says it makes a difference. I've got a lot more movement but I keep getting killed by pressing the wrong button in fights 😂

Wonderful matches. Especially the first one. I wish I could play with you sometime so I could say "one of the best Crypto players I know played with me" (of course I would leave you Crypto). Do you think I should get the old Crypto heirloom or the new one? I have many "clear" skins. Do you know if the "Whitelisted" skin is part of a bundle or do you get it individually? Because if it comes out I'd like to get it. I asked a lot of questions and I apologise.

Crypto and Ash. Since Crypto got his banner and respawn abilities and and how Ash has been on release I've said they have amazing niche abilities for a team that's willing to communicate and work with them. Ash helped me get to diamond by always knowing where fights are happening. You can choose to avoid, third party, or loot scraps based off of that. Can even track down the killers using the death box scan. So much info. Crypto has a wide aoe dmg ult to help support his team mid fight and otherwise is always there as a fallback with his ability to bring back the squad after a fight goes bad.
Inspired to play crypto from your awesome videos.. Even under average player like myself can get MAXED OUT KILL POINTS coz I got 1 kill and 10 assists! LOL.. Keep up the good work my guy

Crypto main since his launch here. I have one more wish for his QoL stack. If the drone is up he should call out any changes in the squad count on banners, particularly increases; e.g. "another team has entered the area!" or "multiple teams have entered the area!"

I had a match just like the first game where I kept respawning my team, but they were throwing themselves out there, but that's just pubs. I see Crypto getting a lot of attention and that's great, but I love Crypto so much that I'd like to gate keep him. That's obviously possessive, but another part of me thinks that if he gets too much attention, he'll get nerfed, and then we're back to square one. That's a longshot though,

Ive gotta question for my fellow crypto mains. There used to be a time when you called out how many squads were within your 200m radius, you could look at your mini map and the whole mini map would encompass the 200m radius. I started playing crypto again lately and it seems like they zoomed out the mini map to about a 300m radius. Am I trippin?

Been trying crypto recently. Id say it takes abit of skill because your powers are basically manual, because you have to control the drone.
So his passive i feel needs a rework. I dont know about you guys but when i die and get respawned it says drone destroyed which is unfair because other characters come back with there tatical. With crypto you basically just a shooter lol.
The drone for me makes too much of noise as well as its very weak theres times that drone gets shot very easily. They need to increase the health of that drone.
Cryptos drone looks like a smart drone, but at times its not that smart lol,😂 an example would be when in drone i can see the players clearly but the drone has to be super close which is, in noise and easy target distance for opponents. Also enemies are aware of a crypto drone because it highlights them so how much worse can they make him.
It would be nice if maybe they changed a few things. Like with mirage and vantage they can use there tactical buttons to control things it would be nice if crypto could control his drone to hover around near him to scan enemies because that's basically what he was meant to do. Doesnt have to be a fast rotation can be slow but atleast you wouldn't need to be in it end games while fighting.
Also if you are in the drone it should alert us that there is an enemy near crypto like how solos has that red highlights of enemies under 50 metres. Because there was a game where my squad pushed abit forward and an enemy just got to my body and started blasting away.
Overall thank you iburi. I hated crypto. Started playing with him after watching your channel. My mindset has changed he just need minor tweaks to compete with the rest. 😅

Fuzzy Logic is the recolor for The Hired Gun skin, so you have to own the Hired Gun skin to get it. And fuzzy Logic comes back to the store rotation every once and a while, so you have to wait for it to come back. Whenever it comes back, I always post it on my community feed
