- We are now climbing through the bottom tier ranks and move from bronze to gold in this video. I am hoping these videos might help some newer crypto mains learn to play him and be able to become better players in ranked and push to higher ranks! That is why I am giving more tips to you guys at the beginning of these videos to hopefully help out anyone who is struggling with Crypto or just with Ranked in general. This video has some great Crypto Ranked gameplay as well as a great drone tip and team comps I like to run with Crypto!

Crypto main here. Love your content. One tip i can give, it's to force two team to fight and get a free third party with drone. For example, in last rings if you scan a beacon and see that two teams are close to each other (but they don't know they're close to each other), just use your drone to fly around and make one team to constantly shoot it. The other team will bite the bait and push the first team, after that fight, you get a free third party.

Yesss love the tips and ranked play! Alter combo is great. I played some Crypto with a Caustic buddy last time I could play and timing the ults together late game with people hiding in buildings is great!

@@lburi hmu if you ever want to go to Disneyland, Disney world or a cruise. My wife is a travel agent and she knows all the best hacks & tips. I'm not rich by any means bro but we vacation like ballers because of her. Our best hack is that you can plan out a vacation for any length of time or amount of money and only have to put $200 down. You have up to 12 months to pay it off at any rate you can afford. We pay on ours for a few months then save spending money for a couple weeks. This is the way! There's no way I could drop $5k +/- on a trip plus another grand or two for food/spending money all at once. That's also for a family of 4. 1 or 2 people is much cheaper! I'll have a drink for you today before I leave!

I remember when TheGamingMerchant showed an old glitch, before they patched it out, where Rampart could place Shela on top of the Drone and Crypton can fly it around with Rampart on top it. Flying around n Shooting players. 😂🤣

Can you make a video about an idea I’ve had; I like to call this the Breacher Squad consisting of Crypto, Alter, and Mad Maggie. This is a team-up designed to destroy any defense possible.
Let’s say there is a Catalyst, a Caustic, and a Rampart holding up in a building. Crypto EMPs to break the Caustic barrels and the top of Rampart’s walls, Maggie Fire Ball + Drill to destroy the Catalyst’s doors while burning the team, and Alter portal to easily push to stop them from healing along with the Nexus to fall back if things go wrong. If there is a Wattson/Newcastle use EMP first, if there isn’t use Maggie Ball first.
The only con is that you use all of your resources and if a third party comes you could be screwed so make sure the Nexus is down for a getaway/last resort.
I like pairing Mad Maggie. She can attack thru walls and her ult can throw down speed boosts to give you a path to rush targets down.

ive really enjoyed a team-comp of crypto, fuse, and caustic in the past, ive been both the fuse and the crypto in that comp and it feels great
Me and my buds used to run fuse, Gibby, and crypto back in the day from like season 8 to 12, really fun comp

@lburi if you have a friend who plays lifeline, try that with the alter+crypto. You trade all of your rotation power for incredible reset power. As long as lifeline doesn't get knocked in the fight, everyone can take the alter portal while knocked and lifeline gets the easy 2 man rez

Aside from Alter who's really fun with Crypto, I like playing Mirage. The more information the better the bamboozles. The invisibility after res is also pretty clutch. The sequence is to get revived and then use the Bat+Emp tech to reset the fight in your favor. I actually think Alter Crypto Mirage could be a really strong team
I'm working on a team comp of crypto, mad Maggie, and alter. I feel like there is a lot of synergy that can be found with those legends

@lburi I just imagine after getting hit with an emp they'll take cover to recharge shields. That's when Maggie and alter comes in, then we come in, they get comed in 🤣
@@cyberneticmonstrosity actually nasty🔥 Maggie can shoot her drills wherever they are taking cover and she can throw her ball at them too
@lburi the pads from the ball for movement, drill for damage and to remove cover they might take, finally alter portal on drill. I'm thinking the fire would hide where the portal is at and mask our infiltration.

Bang is a good fragger and good pairing with. Crypto. Smoke with the drone in it free scans
She’s decent, she’s better with bloodhound because bloodhound scans actually go through smokes and bloodhound ult’d can see through smokes and get free kills. Unfortunately crypto scans are very inconsistent with bang smokes and usually can’t see through the smoke fully to get scans, unless the drone is also in the smoke

Since I started watching your videos (I met you when I searched on Yt "How to use Crypto" and you came up with season 13) and from there I started to love Crypto. Even though I didn't have it at first I would watch the videos and learn from your moves you did in game. And even now I watch your moves as you explain them😂. I love watching you play. I have a quick question: did you change settings in Nvidia Filters? Because I see your screen brighter and with more contrast or is it just my impression? Thanks for the reply Iburi :)
Haven’t changed my filters, but the one thing I did change was lowered by contrast to 2%. But when I post edit in Adobe, I do slightly added some brightness lol

YOOOO with this new season brings back kings canyon and a new broken moon map. I was just wondering where you should land and what rotations you should do on the current map rotation? Thanks!
For me and my squad, we love landing at Cage in Kings Canyon. Pretty good loot and usually one squad lands with us and we are good at fighting there so we can get some early KP, and after we fight, I’ll scan the beacon there if there is one there and then we’ll rotate to third party people at labs or capacitor, or we will just start rotating to circle. So what I recommend is to land at a POI that you feel confident fighting at, and if you don’t feel confident with any POIs. I would recommend landing at The Rig, Spotted Lake, or Crash Site. Those are some solid POIs imo for Kings Canyon
For broken moon, I honestly don’t really know tbh because I have not played ranked on the new updated broken moon yet lol, so I’ll get back to you on that

my duo likes bangalore and we enjoy taking fights hitting them with smoke and having drone show us where they are and they cant see us

How’d you not mention crypto with Bangalore? Free scans in the smoke and you can hide your drone. Also, another tip I found out recently is cryptos new heirloom finisher turns them around 180 when you cancel for easy thirsts
For me, I don’t like the bang crypto combo too much. She is much stronger paired with bloodhound because bloodhound scans are much more efficient through smokes and the bloodhound Ult’d paired with a smoke is deadly. Crypto scans actually get blocked by the smokes more often than not and can only scan enemies in smokes if the drone is in the smoke as well. So that’s why I don’t like bang that much paired with crypto. And that heirloom finisher is 🔥

newcastle pairs well with ash as she can TP then NC can ult on to her so now you have the wall after the TP for the 3rd teammate.

Its great to have a team with a movement legend but having a movement in your base kit goes a long way. learning how to super glide and and wall jump will at least give you some options rather than none at all. crypto main FL

I haven’t played ranked properly since around season 18 and now I’ve completely lost my way around ranked, it’s always a panicky game with my random teammates nowadays

Question: how close do you want to position the drone to get the scans? Sometimes I feel like it’s not close enough and I don’t get the active scans
I usually just put it near the enemies idk lol.
Drone scans up to 30m, and up to 37m if you use the network expansion. So maybe if you are having issues not getting scans, try out the network expansion perk. Like I mention in this video, I usually throw out my drone right before I push the enemies, and that gets me guaranteed scans and usually makes the enemies have to focus on shooting the drone or shooting me, so either I get free scans or a free knock
I’ll talk more about this in future vids for sure

Yeah bloodhound is meta rn just because everyone is running Bangalore, and bloodhound is the obvious counter to Bang because you can see through the smokes with the bloodhound scans + when bloodhound is Ult’d

Try to get top 5 every game
I recommend trying to get KP early, and then after that, scan the survey beacons to see where enemies aren’t and then focus on getting into circle safely and trying to get high placement. I’ll talk about this more in future videos🫡
