I saw goji73’s videos on this creepypasta about 9 years ago when I was a little kid and it scared the piss out of me. In the years since I’ve revisited it multiple times and it still scares me. I’m so glad that other people appreciate this truly unique and terrifying story enough to make something like this. More people should know about it because it is truly one of the best creepypastas ever made.

This feels less like a perfect recreation of the creepypasta, but more of a portrayal of if YOU had a similar experience like what Zachary had to see, where youre just playing the game but seeing unusual differences then what you remember Its genius
Seeing this just makes me wish I'd read the original story before I saw the piles of rip-offs that either directly plagiarized the concept or made it a mockery through bad writing. I can appreciate this, and recreating an entire game from just a handful of mocked-up screenshots and a text description is an impressive feat, but now there's always going to be a part of my mind that's going "where's the HYPER REALISTIC 8-BIT BLOOD?"

I was interested in this game when I had first heard of it, but after playing it myself about a year ago... And watching this video reminding me of it... It deviated way too much and added in more than necessary for how little it has of the full creepypasta. The first RED chase was frustrating to play. I didn't even see the fog part until this vid. All of the deviations are probably why Cosbydaf has distanced himself from it instead of continuing to work with the creator for it.
Yeah, like i know they probably just wanted to make an entertaining game out of it but it really takes away from the atmosphere. Some people like how it is, and that's completely fine- but for me personally, it feels too actiony and not really all that eerie or scary
I respect your opinions but imo the changes benefit the game a lot, I think it gives the game it's own identity while also making it a fun experience because let's be honest, a walking simulator for not only the majority of pathos but also the red chase wouldn't make a fun game at all, it works on a story like the og creepypasta but not so much on an actual game, at least that's what i think :p

Looks neat, but I really dislike how long the Red chase drags on. It lasts for so long it loses any creepiness it might have (theoretically) had and just gets annoying. I'm guessing the dev wanted it to be more complicated and difficult than the "Walking to the right until you win" situation implied in the creepypasta, but after the two minute mark, it just got boring. When the fog started rolling in, I kinda hoped it was either the end of that level or something dramatically different was gonna happen. Instead it was just the exact same shit you've been doing for roughly three minutes except now everything was grey and black. Yay. It also ironically makes Red look even more pathetic than he did before. The chase being so drawn out, Godzilla's unchanging strut, and Red's various roars and angry faces as he repeatedly fails to grab Godzilla all make it unintentionally funny. Mostly boring, but still kinda funny regardless.
It's simply because the player was too good. When one of the letters of "run" turns red, that is Godzilla losing health. I assume most people would lose sooner. But Red's little claw swipes did make him look pretty impotent lmao

Mothra’s weaknesses are a tad less crippling in this version than the original game. She sucked so bad even the pasta writer made her more useful.

The devs said in their Discord server that the next update will likely be the last, as they've lost steam and decided to drop the project.
