Living in Queens for many years, we've had our fair share of Halal food in carts or food trucks either along Steinway or 53rd and 6th Ave in Manhattan. Now that we've found one in Long Island in the town of Hicksville, we can't be happier. Plus, it's open 24/7! Hamza & Madina has been around for 6 years in this location and it's one you cannot miss as you drive along route 107. The food is inexpensive, plentiful and most of all delicious. Definitely give this place a shot if you haven't been there already. As always, thank you for watching! Salamat!

Hi AnnaBee...Hope all is well with you and your family. I just had to say I just tried Hamza and Madina in Hicksville for the first time last week after getting out of the hospital. It was probably the most intense culinary experience I have ever had in my life. I was actually very disappointed in myself because I'm 33 years old, grew up in Hicksville, and NEVER tried HALAL food until just NOW!! It has really opened my eyes to a lot of new things and it has me excited to try ALL cuisines throughout the world!! I have finally come to realize that without even consciously thinking about it, the negative power that prejudice has on society. I never even considered it in the past. It wasn't even a thought. I don't mean to ramble on your page but I was just thinking about how the world is in desperate need of healing right now and how something as simple as sharing food experiences with one another can be such a powerful thing. At least it is for me. I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT THE LAMB WITH EXTRA WHITE SAUCE LOL. I know you know what I mean. Hope to see you there one day ! Stay happy and healthy and make it a great day! Thanks for doing this video! In general, the culinary scene in Hicksville (and Farmingdale) has exploded - lots of good reasonably-priced restaurants. btw, I have driven by Hamza & Madina late at night (to make LIRR pick-ups) and have seen lines there after midnight.

It really is the best. They opened up a spot in this gas station in Commack. I was pretty sketched out at first being that it was in a gas station, but holy shit. Definitely the best Halal I've had on Long Island.
I have been to both the gas station in Commack and to the food truck, the one in the gas station is slightly better.

It's hard to beat the mix over rice.

The food here is pretty good, but the best spot is in Manhattan on 53rd and 6th. If you guys like halal gyro you gotta check this place out en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Halal_Guys There are many impostors but to know where the cart is at look for the guys in the yellow shirts that says halal guys.
Yes, the Halal Guys is one of the best carts I've had in Manhattan and their long lines clearly show that they are! I've had that at least 5-6 times before, when I catch the line shorter than 10 people ahead of me during my lunch hour lol. Thank you so much for watching and welcome to the channel!
I've tried lamb and chicken in Singapore from an eatery where I saw dudes wearing those caps that signify that they've been to Mecca, so I guess the food I ate was halal.
I'm not familiar with halal rules too. Hehe. I guess we should research on that. I agree with Mike's tips! By the way, what do you drive? Looks like a really nice sports coupe.
