Dude... you are my god damn HERO!!! No where did this STUPID company Hunter put THE ONE ADJUSTMENT I NEEDED in their manual!!! Not on the sticker that was on the sprinkler itself, their online manual or their own video did they show how to ADJUST where this sprinkler STOPS, just how far it swings and the arc of the spray, I was going nuts trying to figure this out. THANK YOU THANK YOU!! May your children grow to be strong and mighty children good sir!
This is EXACTLY what we needed! The instructions that came with the new sprinkler head were useless. Thanks Matthew! Can we send you a bottle of something?
Fantastic job! Plain and simple quick and easy instructions in explaining the all the functionality of the sprinkler adjustments... Took me a minute after watching... Best video by far! Thanks so much
Just a heads up. Your camera has an autofocus point that is centered in the viewfinder, so if you or the subject are to the side of the frame, you will NOT be in focus unless you manually set focus.
Very informative video. Thanks! Only recommendation would be to show an ultru close-up of the sprinkler head (in focus!) that shows the markings on top of the head.
Correct and KRain. They are both knock offs of the Hunter PGP. You can reverse the instructions and they work for RainBird 5000 series rotors too. Everything with the RainBirds is opposite.
If your bubblers are blowing off it’s likely over pressurized. You may want to look into a “drip kit” valve assembly. These will reduce and regulate the pressure for a drip zone.
Not really, the tend to slow with age due to debris clogging the filter in the bottom. The water pressure goes up the head and spins a turbine which in turn operates the gear drive and makes it turn. If the filter is clogged enough it can slow the rotation. It can also be a combination of flow restrictions such as how the pipe was run, what fittings where used and at what angle they are to one another and the pipe etc. If it still rotates at a consistent speed and isn't stopping and starting then the gear drive is good. If it is the gear drive is damaged and the head will soon stop rotating altogether.
A blue nozzle means you either have a PGP Ultra or a PGP from Home Depot or similar. There really aren't "upgrades" to the nozzles. There are different nozzles but they only differ in flow rates. They are used to determine the Gallons Per Minute GPM flow rate from each head.
Out of all the Damn videos about sprinkler ajustment. Yours was the best example. Thank you.
I 2nd that
I agree
ABSOLUTELY!! I have an Orbit Rotary and these instructions work for that as well!

And perhaps focus on the sprinkler instead of the house 100 feet in the background...
I found this very helpful as I learn to work on my own irrigation system. Thanks for making such an informative video
That was most helpful. Everyone else I listened to was very confusing.
Thanks for the video. You explained the process perfectly.
Glad I found the video. Very easy to follow. Thanks
THIS is the best instructional video regarding these types of risers I could find 👍👍 two thumbs up from me!
These instructions work for Orbit Rotary Sprinklers as well!!

Thank you, these sprinklers at my new house are really a pain. Broken dripper lines, bubblers that blow off after a minute

Excellent, clear and comprehensive video. THANKS!!!
Very helpful, thanks for the video.
Is there anyway to get the head to move back and forth faster? Mine seems to take over a minute for a full sweep. Perhaps that's normal, I don't know?

Very clear. Thank you. Well done.

you weren't putting sprinkler in the view of camera when explaining
Am I the only one who finds this unwatchable because the sound is way out of sync?
I think it might just be your stream. Mine's not out of sync
Just you
"Pop the head up outta the casing" Doesn't explain how to do that...
It’s a rotor
Rambling an unclear, poor instructions
