I enjoy watching your CZcams videos. I am a senior citizen and over the years ago my wife passed away. My wife did all the cooking and since then I have been living off of fast-food. I have a new lady friend who is trying to teach me how to cook. I came across your CZcams videos by accident and I find that by watching and listening to you I am learning how to cook.
I still have a lot to learn.
Way to go Edmund, same here. if I wanna eat some different, I just hop up on CZcams and look and watch for a recipe cook it and eat it, voila, is so easy.

I have spent most of the morning searching for videos about garlic bread. I watched about a dozen so far but this looks like the real deal. Most recipes use butter which is what I have used in the past. Using olive oil seems to make a lot more sense. I am going to give it a go. Thanks very much.

I hear that many Italians have a great metabolism. But I don't know if that's true. It's possible that she just eats more healthy food and works out

They don't overeat or eat it everyday other than that they eat healthy food and workout keeping them thin and fit.
Only those trying to lose weight are advised to avoid such food, the rest of them who are normal can eat these (once a week's fine) without putting on too much fat. If you have cravings for carbs everyday, you have got to do 2hrs of exercise everyday for 5 days a week to maintain your shape.

Regular garlic bread is just buttered bread with garlic powder and parsley right? So technically i can eat garlic bread for breakfast every day and it's not unhealthy. I AM GONNA EAT GARLIC BREAD
olive oil is still recommended than butter because butter has a high fat content. but yeah, olive oiled garlic bread is a healthy food especially for fighting high blood pressure

I just love this recipe, I've been looking for a good garlic bread recipe for a longs time. The simplicity of this recipe is what makes it great. 3-4 garlic cloves works best for me.

The first time I made this was about 3 or 4 years ago. I kept the recipe in my CZcams folder, and today, 3-4 years later I had time to go back and try this recipe again & put on some yummy sourdough bread. Love this

Just being polite =) but she actually shows you in this video. Garlic, olive oil, parsley-blend it or chop it finely. You can even add salt & pepper if you want.

I made this recepie and this is the best garlic bread I ever tasted in my life. It's better than what they sell in resturants. Honestly my family and I love it sooo much. ♡♡♡♡
Or you can use even more simplified version
just take salted butter (softened not melted) add fresh garlic paste or finely chopped garlic
Mix whole thing up apply on your bread on top add some grated mozzarella and oven it till bread become crusty and cheese got beautiful color sprinkle with some grounded blackpepper and serve...

i kinda wanna make this and then put a bunch of meatballs and marinara sauce in between the slices to have a big-ol meatball sandwich :) ..maybe breaded fried chicken breast with marinara also. for that matter, pepperoni and pancetta, or many other ham-related products would do the job nicely too. i'd have to saute some mushrooms though with it.. maybe some big portobello slices (because i'm a mushroom freak). great now i'm starving

all these answers are untrue, she doesn't believe she get's fat... the mind is the ultimate factor in your weight gain, you mentally tell your body what to do with your food. If you think and believe it's going to make you fat... It does so you don't think your crazy.
Laura, you are my favourite chef of all time! I'm only 16 but I've made many of your recipes for my family and they were all successes. I've stopped watching Food Network because you are sooo much better.
However, I have one suggestion/concern. When you say "I don't know why you wouldn't put more?" when referring to using extra cheese, I have the answer for you. Some people (myself included) have lactose intolerance which is the worst thing to have when you love Italian food. I just wanted to point that out because I tend to talk back to my laptop every time you mention that extra cheese/butter/whipped cream.
I made this twice & it was sooooo good. I just love pasta & garlic bread but i never liked eating garlic bread that had a buttery taste. Thanks a ton for sharing this recipe Laura as well as the alfredo pasta recipe. I'm glad i can make it at home whenever i want. No more ordering out 🙂
