I'm so sick of hearing professionals calling LDL "bad cholestorol". It's not. It's only when LDL is damaged by blood sugar that it turns into small, dense pattern B LDL which leads to atherosclerosis and arterial plaque. It's inconceivable to me that in 2020 (the year of this video), a person as well informed as this presenter is still saying that LDL is bad. It's not. It's a vital part of a functioning body.

One of the best lectures I have ever attended. You are a great educator and you are able to select relevant topics. I have recommended your talks to others.

Thank you so much for the video!! I learned so much!! It is more clear about the fructose and metabolism. Just one thing is that it is probably better to consume the fruits before a meal, not after.

I've never seen a fat Frutarian. So no, I don't agree that fructose gets deposited as fat in the body. I eat tons of fruit and have been able to keep my lean weight very steady. And there's a big difference between consuming fructose and consuming a whole fruit. as there is in consuming sugar or consuming a complex carb.

I agree too. She is VERY wrong. Fructose is a superior simple sugar, it does not even need insulin as a carrier to be transported into the cell. Fruits cure my cancer just fine.

thank you for this high level teaching video. A remark though, your voice sound is too much reverb and it should be better to treat this sound in order to cut off all reverb. Because, it a little hard to listen. It's easy to do. Just a detail ;)

According to Dr Fong one of a you-tuber, who talk about diabetes, the glucose meter, reads only glucose but not fructose. So people with diabetes will eat sweet fruits but when then did a measurement with the glucose meter it would not show a spike in sugar.

It would seem that as a type 2 diabetic, it’s better to eat a starch based diet with vegetables and limiting fruits.

"two servings a day" - damn, that's what pisses me off about English-speaking people. “One serving, a cup, a half cup, a medium piece, a large piece, a stick, a cup of cubes, one slice, one ring” - can’t we just say it in grams or at least ounces? How much does this “one serving” weigh? I have cups that differ in size by 3 times :(

No, not to all of it, but enough, high frutose corn syrup is processed from corn!
Not the same as natrual fructose what so ever.
If fructose causes this much of a problem for someone, there issue is much deeper than their sugar consumption!!
Just because she can regurgitate her programing doesn't mean the info she got was complete, and, before she regurgitated it.
HA, i do believe she is genuine, seems like a nice lady.
