@@casteine brother, ND has had and will continue to have a massive media deal with NBC. nothings gonna change there, but the fact that they were hootin and hollerin over 9 yard passes is ridiculous. not to mention every play ND made they show 13 replays and actually cause the viewers to miss the live game because they show it over and over. it’s so annoying man. ND fans are the most delusional in all of CFB

I know McCord has a few things to get better on but last drive is great for his growth and seeing his talking to the fans was awesome to see
100%. He's still the worst QB we've had in the last decade... which isn't really a knock on him so much as it's a testament to how great the QBs have been. But that last drive changed my perception of him. He spends most of the game just trying not to lose. Which, if you're surrounded by as much talent as he is I kinda get that... just don't give the game away and you let a teammate go win it. But no teammate went and won it and he has some grit under those pads when he's asked to cut it loose.

@@internetreferee8463 If you count Cardale as a starter (only started after both Braxton and JT went down in 2014; only started the first half of 2015 before JT retook the starting job) I think McCord is better than him. He could end up being better than JT and Braxton as well. Would be hard to surpass Fields or Stroud.
When ND called time out they had 11 players on the field. They came back out with 10. They had 30 seconds to get the 11th player back onto the field after the incomplete pass.
2 times I regret leaving the room during an OSU game... 1. Cardale Jones' throw to Ezekiel Elliott for 81 yards... jaw-dropping. 2, The last minute of the OSU vs. Notre Dame game... Ugh!
I stopped watching with 3:00 left because I felt I jinxed us all... So happy it turned out like it did.

whats amazing was chips toe-off as he was stretching for the goal line. Look at that again, his knee was going down and he toed-off to keep his legs straight and off the grass. Amazing.

I am a PSU fan so I seldom root for the Buckeyes but I absolutely loved this. Great game must respect. Loved seeing the Damers get it handed to them at home.

I had to endure arguments from my (Mom) Catholic, and my Dad, an Ohio State alumn for twenty years. Whole family was raised Catholic, it was actually hilarious. In the end, my Dad converted to Catholicism in the end❤.
I mean seriously that last play only took 2 seconds off the clock. Almost impossible! But we still got the win just seems so incredible to run that play in only 2 seconds!

He's also amazing doing Buckeye basketball with Ronnie Stokes. Simply the best.
Paul is the voice of Fall. I shut my eyes and hear him calling a game and it's like I'm at home on the edge of my seat immersed in the tradition of the sport

I want to say, at one point ryan day gonna have to trust mccord to do a qb sneak. There was a handful of ND defenders in the osu backfield, as far back as the 4 yard line, 3 yard line etc, in a split second, they came from both sides AND with only 10 guys on the field. Risky handing the ball off on the 4 yard line, its essentially a 4 yard run when the ball is spotted at the 1, by the time you hand it off. A qb sneak on that play would have been an actual true 1 yard run, plus a few inches.

My guess is that you have to attempt the PAT because, in theory, the defense could block the kick and return it all the way to the other end zone, which would be worth 2 points, and tie the game.

Admittedly, even being born and raised the heart of Buckeye country, I'm not a Buckeyes fan. Never have been never will be. However, I highly respect their program. These announcers are some of the best I've heard. In my opinion,not biased but very fair to both teams whenever a game is called

FACTS! Listening to Gus on Fox that 2014 season... especially during that 59-0 romping of Wisconsin in the B1G Championship Game...made him my favorite broadcaster instantly. I was upset when I saw that NBC would be broadcasting this game and not Gus & Joel on Fox 😆

Sunday morning pundits will go on and on. Notre Dame got beat on that last drive. I'm a ND fan, and hats off to OSU on that 3rd and 19 play to get it to the 1 yard line. I think ND played a little to safe there at the end, but that's football.

The failure of our Buckeyes really stand out here. Only 10 defenders. 2 unblocked in the backfield, and the right side was pushed back. If they needed 2, and not 1.5, they get stopped.

Because OSU got a first down. Clock stops on a first down in the last two minutes of each half and starts back up after the refs place the ball and signal ready for play. That was actually how first downs worked for the entire game before this season. New rules for it to only be during the last two minutes of each half.
