Those bolts protruding from the back of the number plate will poke 4 holes into the bumpers with slight kissing of the bumper.

I have one and had someone back into me (fairly gently) while parking. The frame flexes enough that it can be pushed into the bumper. I did get dents and the person had to pay for a repair to my bumper. SHORTEN YOUR BOLTS!!! Maybe even add some foam pads behind them to absorb some shock.

Needs a keyhole cover. That key way will be full of grit in no time and become inoperable.
Was thinking of some black electrical or duct tape as a diy.
@@mmark300Something like a silicon paste or jell. Will stay on in the rain and can be peeled off when needed. Don't see any reason to remove the plate anyway.
