  • A little Christmas gift to myself and my family, this is a Coleman CT200U-EX Mini Bike. In this video I'll show you how to set it up, add engine oil, start the engine, and operate the bike. And I'll give you my thoughts about the bike in this unofficial review. Thanks for watching. Buckwsr, Putting the "Do" into "Do-It-Yourself"

I bought one a little over a year ago online from Walmart. It arrived in good condition and I assembled it myself. I own 3 Harley's I have collected and kept over many years and a 1949 Cushman motor scooter I have been riding since I was 14. I'll be 76 in March. After about 8 hours use the outer bearing in the jack shaft went out. I found that it had never been greased from the factory. I replaced both bearings with American made Temkin bearings. At the same time I removed the centrifugal clutch and Jack shaft and installed a Go power Sports torque converter. The top end went from about 18 MPH to 36 MPH with this one mode. I use it on dry river beds and the desert near my home here in Phoenix. I have a Predator 212 engine still in the box standing by in case the stock engine goes South. So far it's doing well. I change the oil often, it's pretty cheap since it only holds about 1/2 quart. Enjoy your Mini-bike.

Those are nice bikes. I bought one a couple years ago and no problems yet. My grandsons are almost big enough to ride it soon.Merry Christmas and have fun!

The engine actually slides backwards just loosen the mounts on the bottom and slide, thought the same thing about the oil fill. Once it’s pushed back it’s much easier

That sounds like a lot of work to just check the oil....

Also if you run out of thread on your chain tensioner bolts you can loosen them all the way and loosen the 4 engine bolts, shove the engine forward about an inch and retighten engine bolts and tensioner bolts. If chain in rubbing on frame or chain guard, loosen engine and push it to the right. Retighten. Happy trails!

That would be nice. But I don't have anywhere to ride it. My property is just not big enough. Also, at over $6000, I can't afford it! I don't even pay that much for the automobiles I drive. Ha ha!

Interesting sound effects reduced to writing! ha ha! I'm not sure what to suggest, and I really can't diagnose it without seeing (and hearing) it. Good luck.
