This raw coconut cream is creamy, thick, and tastes like… well, coconut. It’s almost identical to canned coconut cream you would buy in the store, except it’s raw and tastes much better.

The main reason I am sharing this video is that many people think that raw desserts with coconut cream are not "truly" raw (because coconut cream is typically canned). However, if the cream is made from fresh coconuts as shown in this video, those desserts really are raw ;)

Wow that looks like a wonderful juicer! It’s great it separates the pulp from the juice as the whole coconut can be utilized and zero waste. Many thanks 🌸

@NutritionRefined Can we substitute the Omega J8006HDC for making this coconut cream? Thanks for the video!

Hello I wanted to ask can I ferment this coconut cream to coconut yoghurt by adding a probiotic and using a yoghurt marker?

Yes sure you can...you can as well add stems of green chilli to kick start the fermentation

Can this cream be turned into ice-cream? I would love to make pineapple / mango ice-cream with raw coconut but can't find any recipes. Thank you so kindly for all the time you invest in producing such information and easy to follow recipes.

You can definitely use it for ice cream, but ideally, the ice cream would still be churned or you would at least need to whip the coconut cream to make it more airy.

    Ok, i don't have a juicer. Can't do it. 😶😐

But you can use the method of making coconut milk, but well concentrated with little water. that way, when you put it in the fridge to decant, the corresponding fat will rise and only the coconut cream will remain

@ Debbie, I have made coconut milk in a potent blender. I cut it into small pieces and add a little water, then I strain it. Delicious!

@@musingfoodie1041 I need coconut cream. 😉 And don't have a potent blender. I'll see what I can come up with.
      Thanks

You can do it with a high-speed blender. You would start the same - remove the coconut meat and cut it into strips. Add the coconut meat to a high-speed blender with as little water as possible and blend. The "milk" will never get completely smooth, so you will need to strain it through a nut milk bag or a piece of cheesecloth. Next, pour the coconut milk into a big jar and transfer it to a refrigerator so that the creamy part separates from the liquid part. You can scoop up the creamy part after separation. I used to do that all the time before getting a juicer ;)
