  • This podcast was filmed November 1st, 2023 at the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship Conference in London, England.
    In this insightful episode of my podcast, I engage in a deep and thoughtful conversation with Katharine, exploring a wide range of topics including the challenges of maintaining femininity in the modern world, the shift in Catholic education, and personal journeys of faith and struggle. We discuss the detrimental impact of feminism on the perception of womanhood, the critical role of balancing masculinity and femininity within society, and the profound influence of community and technology on youth today. Through personal anecdotes and reflective dialogue, Katharine and I highlight the importance of personal responsibility, the sanctity of marriage, and the need for a return to foundational values in both leadership and society. This episode offers a compelling look at the intersections of faith, feminism, and family in the contemporary landscape.

    In Australia I came across a statistic that 30% of families prefer to send their kids to Christian fee charging schools than government schools.

    Thank you Tammy Peterson. Your podcast is always a breath of fresh air and has a 'coming home' feel to it. I am so grateful for such a place. I am also overjoyed for you, that you will be coming into Christ's Church in a couple of weeks at Easter! 🕊️ May God continue to bless you on your profound and beautiful journey! ❤🙏🏼

    Can't wait to listen to this! Love Catholic Unscripted, and Jordan Peterson and Jonathan Pageau have been instrumental in me coming into the Catholic faith this Easter.

    Tammy is wonderful. I would enjoy seeing Matt Fradd and Tammy Peterson have a discussion. I do think Catholic schools should remain Catholic. Things get watered down really fast and it makes Catholics feel mocked, even in our own schools. We learn that there are no spaces where we can be ourselves. Eventually, that turns us to be silent.

    I’m in the UK and I attend Mass at a Catholic Church that has a senior school attached to it. On occasions we share our week day with the children from the school and I’m sure I can see that more children who do not receive the Eucharistic bread than those who do. I find it very troubling. We have a regular comprehensive school less than half a mile away. I don’t think that Catholic schools shouldn’t take a certain amount of non Catholic pupils, but they should be in the minority. What I worry about is, that we don’t have enough parents of the faith who want their children to have a faith based education. God bless you for this insight.

      I wish I could. I live in rural Australia. It was discovered that I was silently reading, the readings of the day from the King James Bible. They asked me to stop as my doing so might offend some people. Who? The ten elderly ladies? The four elderly gents? Or the two downs syndrome adults?
      I've never been back.
      Godbless you.

      @@grannyannie2948An in person church is definitely best, and I don’t live in Australia, so I can’t recommend one, but if you need a church to attend virtually, we’d love to have you at mine! We love Jesus and we aren’t woke.

    I appreciate you, Tammy. I prayed for you during your illness. Most of all, I prayed you would come to know Jesus so I was thrilled when I heard of your new-found faith. I am not a Catholic but I know there are Catholics who are true believers whereas there are others who are nominal. I am a part of the Protestant branch of the Christian faith. Please, please, don’t repeat the phrase, “ The Protestant church is completely woke.” There is the Liberal and Progressive branch which is truly woke. Some of them no longer value the authority of the Bible and do not believe in the divinity of Christ. I’m not sure why they call themselves Christians. That said, MOST of the Protestant church is not woke and do not fly rainbow flags, etc. Just now, it came to mind, I believe Mikhaila and Jordan F are Protestant. I don’t think they’re woke. Anyway, I hope you will be more nuanced when you speak of Protestants, like myself, who respect you and would appreciate the same.

    • @grannyannie2948
      @grannyannie2948 Před 3 měsíci

      Throughout Mediaeval history there have been popes declared by the people as antipopes. Sometimes there was more than one pope and people could choose.

      stop spewing nonsense. the Pope blessed the individuals but not the act of sin i.e. union. "those with ears...should listen well"

    • @grannyannie2948
      @grannyannie2948 Před 3 měsíci +2

      If you read Mediaeval history when their was only one church in western Europe, their were antipopes who the people rejected because they did not correctly represent the values of the Catholic people or in many cases their kings. I suggest you look at the Borgias. Do they represent your values? It's perfectly fine to reject a pope, if he is an antipope. Just continue to observe in your heart. God bless.

      He recently out-rightly condemned gender ideology, saying that (and I'm paraphrasing) if you remove the differences between man and woman, you destroy humanity. Thank God for that!

    There is only one Body of Christ - the ecclesia. There aren't any denominations in Christ! There are only true born again followers of Jesus Christ who are filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in Spirit and Truth!
    It's long overdue to leave these man- made institutions, calling themselves 'church', behind.
    Christ is not divided and his Body is not the catholic church!
