A small sports SUV that’s faster than a lot of sports sedans
Interesting test considering I can never see anyone taking this to the track but it's always cool to see just how these 'normal' vehicles go when pushed. A surprisingly good lap time and it sounds good too!
On the RSQ3 Everything can be fixed with a little tune it’s been detuned in all places on purpose as they want you to take it more as a family compact SUV and not like the RS3 , she can be an animal and handle anything if you unleash her inner beast to the road or the race track .
Do you have a "normal", review of this car coming up, or have I missed that?

Book 0-100 of 4.5, the launch seemed a little crap.
responsible for such bad launch control starts is the gearbox in the RS Q3 and the somewhat seasoned Haldex differential used in the rear axle. In most real world conditions, you wont reach the 4.5 sec naturally... and yes, this is below Audi's standards of quality and "Vorsprung durch Technik" 😞
Will u ever review it in full auto and complete dynamic please so that we also get those results I think would give a better review from this review whether to consider or skip buying.
Interesting with the steering, I nearly bought a RS3 but the steering was way too light and numb. Got a M2 Comp instead and very happy.
And because of the steering wheel you bought M2 come on 😀
Are you racing everyday you drive.
And RSQ3 is an SUV if you whant something better and faster than M2 Competition you can get RS3
Bogged on launch for some reason, should be alot quicker then that.
This car with a tune only is where it should have been power wise from the factory.
You didn’t engage launch control
Love the look of these and that interior is Audi at its best for that class of car
Wondering if the shifting would be better if in sports mode vs auto or comfort
The gear box doesn’t seem to shift as quick as as some other dual clutches
Yeah it’s not the best for this car
When you use launch control, it doesn’t shift how it normally does. Its still really quick, but it’s able to use the torque better during launch control.
It kinda feels like when you push the clutch in on a manual car and flooring the throttle in between shifts and dumping the clutch, if that makes sense. Almost like launching in between shifts.
It makes sense if you’ve ever been in a dsg car from VW/Audi and used the launch control.
How much ? 100k?
Why no more Chris track tests!

Sorry to burst your bubble...but people like me who buy this car don't go on a flipping track, we're mums and dads usually who buy this car...couldn't care less about any of these points but good to know 😅 now review it from a parents point of a view and a rascal dad once the kids are dropped off at the school and you manage to get home in 3 seconds, more suited towards this car!
Couldn’t agree more. I would even settle for just a test drive on the open road discussing specific handling characteristics compared to a regular daily driven SUV as this is a bit more sporty and being the RS model designed to be a little more hard-core

So the S3 is 100hp down yet only .3 seconds slower. Wow. An advertisement for the benefits of light and low. Thanks for these hot laps! Plans for M2 coming to track?
This cars selling point would be the sound of that engine and the more practical size of the car, it’s a bargain compared to gla45s
Can you test the Cupra Formentor with 310 HP?
Very nice for a small SUV.
Imagine it for everyday drive as you looking into like race machine.
