I hope they will be discovered and rediscovered for centuries to come.
Never ending flow. Where's the dark Star
pass the joint mannnnnnnnnnn
Come on!!! Sure they will ;-)
Where is the dogstar....? Siriusly tho (~);}
I hope they are somehow lost for centuries and recovered by researchers who can perfectly reproduce ancient audio tracks and puddle generations far into the future with pure psychedelic jams
I love all my Dead brothers and sisters we are a rare breed! 💀⚡️❤️
The Dead had such a special little love for Hartford, home to one of the great arenas of its time. Two years later, that St. Stephen in Hartford...fucking beautiful...
Have this one on tape. Used to listen to this constantly in my 1992 Lincoln town car driving to a past girlfriends who lived 20 minutes away down some of the best country roads you’ll ever see…. Good times
Been listening to the Dead since 70 will never stop.
respect
Just sitting here with a biig joint in the sun and decided to quit my shitty job and do what I want and do, carpentry,at least I'd be happy. Screw contracts I'm out "there's no time to lose ..."
@Autumnleaf2011 Since this comment I have changed jobs and attitude toward life . so I bought a guitar and I never put it down now and it makes me so happy :)
Yeah man! 🙌
@@dissbeleaverovlies1998 that's awesome got no time to hate barely time to wait!
@Timothy Kamden Definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone} for since november myself =)
Brents underratedness is so angrily criminal!!!
I was tripping face a couple of summers ago on a canoe with my friend on Saranac Lake and I played this on my phone. Sun was going down and we were trying to find our camp site.
He he he.. never been there .. he he he . Except I said nobody leave the boat..😀😎
Yes! A true Lost Sailor
Did you find the campsite yet
Stayed on a island in upper lake sarnac great times.
Our 90's term was "frapping" & there nuthin' really like frapping in a canoe
The musical deconstruction and rebuilding of these songs speaks volumes.
favorite bobby for sure. the transition" like a Swiss watch" these guys are on . sure do miss the live gig. but we still connect daily and they will never die, immortality, like Shakespeare. that's A comfort. Brent and Jerry we'll see ya when we hat there. so many roads to go.thanks for keeping the music alive through these sites. you strengthen my soul regularly. we will stay strong. peace

Yessir!!!!!
You must be the angel I thought I might never find ❤
I've been listening to the Grateful Dead since 1989 and I'm still amazed at how talented they were and still hear things I've never heard before. They're like this exploration that never ends. I feel so fortunate to have seen Garcia with the Grateful Dead and JGB.
Away to far from what, when your on the bus, stay on cause you never know
Hey now, I got on the bus in 89 too! ;)
And I still don't know where I am going to but I am going to go for it
Been listening to Greatful Dead since 1970.
Kinda like God
I love Lost Sailor. My Dad's a big Procol Harum fan and it reminds me of The Dead's version of A Salty Dog.
In my practice I have decided to call it connection - cus it isNo longer just meditation. And I love this guy!
One of my favorite songs
Absolutely amazing version of lost sailer
I don't ever miss them, they IMPRINTED on MY SOUL.
SORRY, IT'S 💘.

I've never heard this before, what have I missed??!!!like it a lot.great jam
I heard it for the first time at a JRAD show last year. Changed my life!! haha
I was the larvae spawn of tadpoleus maximus in 1980, and I love this song.
Wow.... This absolutely blows me away. What a tight, soaring jam between Sailor and Saint.... And Brent's keys and vocals busting through in Saint. Holy shit!
The quality of the music is just amazing, but they were amazing musicians who love people love to play music.
Super band wished I was there😎
Perfct artwork for this. I can imagine it morph into other things as it goes on. Great version. Love Brents early days sound!!!
Best version of this song, powerful message, fits right in the Dead's mystique.
A beautiful rendition of a great ballad, the compass card spinning
Two and fro...

Recently found out Shel Silverstein wrote “A boy named Sue” and think his rhymes and cadences could have have been perfect with the dead!

Many roads have come and gone but it seams I will never quite be ready so I'ma come back untill we all learn to love our devil back home to heaven so we can close the door behindus, I'm so sorry Aria, you gave me the will to not fight this life away and become a bodhisattva in your honer.love, and I pray you feel my echo
that collective "yeeeeee" at 10:58. sounds like a bunch of giddy interstellar ex-eunuchs adjusting to their new comparatively more baritone range
This is as good as anything Dylan has written!! Bravo, Bob Weir and the Dead!!
Yah hunter is as good as Dylan but Dylan wrote some twist of fate and that led to the best John Kahn bass solo ever.. soo yah dylan
Nice! This is spot on! Long live jerry and Brent!
There is a price for being freeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeeeee........

Wow - TY for posting
Was this first or second night? I was at first night only and honestly can't remember all the songs without looking at the set list
I know St. S was played on night 2, and I believe a young Trey was in the audience
Where'd that picture come from? I remember it was a pretty good movie.
anybody know anything about the initial image in this video? I'd like to blow that up and nail it to my wall, so I'd like to find a vector image file of that.
By the way music would not be the same if it was recorded digitally.
Kinda sloppy beginning but,nice.And,boy...Bobby's mic was definitely loud enough (and bassy).But,yes...very nice !
This is Weir/Barlow’s magnum opus LOL these songs have everything that is great about Weir’s tunes and are killer AND corny which is his appeal.
What's corny about it?
@@derekfletcher8934 I think he means Bobby's unabashed "rock star-ness" I love it!!
Did they ever do this with Bruce?
I don't think they did the LOST SAILOR with him...
Saint Of Circumstance... 6:44
