Train "Noor" from Shiraz to Tehran 1050km over night, Ticket price around 9€ (4-2019) with bed. The train consists of Chines built carriages which are much more wider and spacious than the European carriages widely used in Iran. I visited Pakistan, UAE, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Turkey Azerbaijan and Georgia. I can say Iran was the best and specially people are much more educated and civilized in Iran compared with others in my list.

Loved Iran on tour in March. We missed out on this train trip because of booking problems due to Nowruz.
A Miller try to avoid the nowruz time ! All means of transport are overloaded and nature is still not green. Come one month later the best time to visit Iran

Future planning : it would be a very good idea (and cost-effective) to join by railway Narmashir ( near Bam ) to Iranshar ( 300 km ). In addition to the economic aspects, this would allow European tourists to go to Chabahar and from there take a boat (cruise ship ) out to india (Bombay, Goa, etc. ).
