As a huge Mars Volta fan, following them since At the Drive In days, the fact that Pridgen came in after Jon Theodore and noticeably elevated their sound ten fold with a distinct style..complimenting and sometimes overshadowing some of the best progressive musicians on offer says alot..He is an inspiration and an underrated monster on drums who should be in the same conversation as Buddy Rich, Peart and all of them
Tnis dude literally spoke on the exact thoughts and philosophy that goes though my head daily. He is a big part of why i get behind my kit, practice my craft and fullfill my postition as a singular creative drummer. Thank you for speaking your mind.
