Designing and framing a roof - DIY House by Female Engineer

Hello everyone!
In this video, I am putting up the barotes (rafters) on top of the horizontal beam framing that I have designed for my off-grid mud home (cob home or Casa de Quincha). The roof is typically done first when building a natural home. This gives your earthen walls and floors protection before you work on them. Stay tuned for the next few videos where we will be laying down the bamboo cage for the walls and stomping the mud for them!
