in a situation where it is difficult to focus, say at night, I use a large piece of paper that is colored half black and the other half is white or I draw on black and white squares ,so the person I'm photographing holds that piece of paper next to or in front of it's head as I focus! It helps me :)
Odlicna ideja, moram probati 😂
7:58 Wow, such great composition.
Great Job Hashem! It's great to see film shot at night, since many people don't think that you actually can shoot it in very low light environments. ☺️👌
Great video! I recently started shooting film for the first time and Cinestill 800T was my choice to start with. I haven't shot portraits, just some street vibes, but I am officially impressed. Such amazing tones, shadows, halos, it's just unique. Can't wait to shoot the other rolls.
Keep up with the great work 👌
Mate, thanks for the inspiration shooting at night with film... and that video light... quite helpful and made a difference too
Very nice photos. I really like the multi-exposure on cinestill, the one at 7:58
The F7 is good to have, but I hope you do vid on using the stock camera flash for a film camera
Soft powder smacks! I wish he was on spotify
He is :) link in the video description
Thanks for this video. Been getting into portrait photography and the night time can be daunting.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks very much!
I now need to check Liminal out!
Very nice results Hashem! Your last video was fun to watch and the music was perfect match! The whole album was amazing! I need to download and purchase this album! Great looking results with Lomography 800 120 film! Shooting night photography is tricky and challenging but maybe look into that lighting kit! Great job as per usual!
Thanks dude, yeah with a few little tricks it's not too bad 😁
Love the voigtlander 58mm f1,4 nice tip on using colour balanced fill light :)
Thanks!
I'm not at all intimated by nighttime portraiture thanks to my F100 which supports VR and my Tamron 45 1.8 which has VR (VC with Tamron). In combination with that I'll use my Godox Xpro N which sends out a wonderful red focusing grid to assist in low light focusing situations. Cool video Hashem!
Dude. Thanks for this. Respect you heaps man
Hey thanks Maria :-) Love your work, glad you've gotten more into film haha 👍
I attempted this with Kodak 800 on a Bronica ETR. I ended using a tripod with shutter cable. Really nice colors from that film stock
Great shots mate, such a shame they discontinued Natura, i never got to use it. I wish they had released in 120 not discontinued it.
Have you tried Pushing Portra 400 to 1600 in development? Becuause it works very very well. Venus 800 doesn't handle pushing well in my experience. But I did push it 2 stops to 3200. Portra 800 however works very well pushed to 3200.
Secondly, I believe upgrading the focusing screen in the FE with later focusing screens affects the light meter. I could be wrong though.
Hey, I never have! Interesting to know though, I have heard that portra in general pushes very well. You're correct about the focusing screen, the solution is to just add +1/2 stop on the exposure compensation dial (in the case of my screen)
A 30th or 15th?!? You’re brave
Saw some Natura 1600 at a local store selling for about $38. Come on Fuji make them again...
Yoooo I already liked you dude but that Initial D shirt just bumped you up to God status
Hahaha thanks man. I love initial D 😁
@@pushingfilm You are a man of great taste.
i am not really confident with shooting under 1/30 to 1/15
