This song it ain't about no goldfish. And it ain't about no tuna fish. And it ain't about no trout. This song. Is cawwed. PIRAAHNAAA
Paul Baloff!!!
😂😂😂 i love their intros to the songs
Fucking epic!! Miss the old school days 😊 I am 52 years young and still love this. RIP Paul

Tom saying "I have one question, Have you learned the words, to our Songs!?.. You have waited this long... Hell, no longer Awaits." is one of the most badass lines in Metal
this never gets old. So sad, though, we have lost some of the compadres.
I was 10 years old when I saw this. Slayer performing The Antichrist changed my life forever. Todays bands growl and play faster but NOTHING can touch Slayer during this time. Isurprised more people havent seen this video on CZcams....they should. Venom, Slayer, Exodus Rule!!!!!!!!!
The riffs were way catchier
You saw these bands live in concert when you were 10? If so, that’s amazing…I didn’t go to my first concert til I was 16
@@vietnamd0820 no, I only saw the video tape of it. I would give anything to see this live in person!
@@uuu098
For real…if someone built a time machine, this concert would be one of the first places I’d go
I was there at Hollywood paledium, i was like 24 or 25 now I'm 64 years old and still like this music😈🤘
I was 15 years old at this concert.
I'm 52 now still a raging meathead!
Except now i can afford better seats at shows😁
@Scott Walsh Raise it up high brother \m/ I will be 50 yrs young in June and I still love this. Such an amazing era for thrash....moved a generation for sure!
Same here Scott! 52 and still thrashing.. only my neck hurts alot more now. haha
Me too. 52 and still into thrash/black/deathmetal!!!
54 years old and counting
Holy shit, I was 15 too when I saw this tour in San Francisco. Exodus didn’t open that show, which sucks, but it’s still a lifelong memory for me
Old school thrash can't beat it
Play this and youtube 'Combat Records: Ultimate Revenge For Disco' before it. Too much metal for one hand! \mmmmmmmm/
dennis jenkins old school thrash metal and old school black metal
I would say Death Metal but I'm just more of a fan of the band Death but they're definitely unique compared to majority of Death Metal bands and another one BoltThrower they're badass!! But there's not too many bands that have not one bad album like Death their entire discography is solid
@@danielblake1537 I would actually say Black Metal..
Cronos is a legend..."Black Metal, Thrash Metal, Death Metal" lol 😂 The Venom interview cracks me up every time...absolutely legendary.
Having seen all 3 bands in the early/mid 80's, I must say.... Metal has NEVER been the same. Look how hungry Slayer was.... Pure Evil!
1999: do u have a vhs copy?
2008: do u have it remastered?
2012: do u have it 1080p?
2019: 4k, anyone?
Here.
Aka
more like 1989 do you have this on tape? 1999 do you have this on DVD? 2009 do you have this on bluray? 2019 do you have this upconverted to HD or 4k on streaming?
2021: 8k?
What will it be in 2060? teleportation to the concert?
Venom is like a big brother who is playing with his younger brothers lol
Anyway, 80s were an important for metal. Thrash till death.
And if Motörhead was there it be like a dad playing with his kids
I believe this is perhaps the most important single extreme metal tour/performance in metal and rock history
This is easily one of the greatest if not the greatest live metal concert videos ever. Not just the bands and their energy, but the crowds. I go to a lot of metal shows but it’s rare to see anything like this these days. Makes me nostalgic for something I was never even around for lol
By far.......simplemente lo dijiste muy bien y 1000% la verdad, jamás habrá otra epoca como 81 al 88 en la escena heavy y trash metal amigo!!!
I'm 63 years old and i was in this concert. And got my ticket to see exodus again after almost 40 years ago. Thanks God for keeping me alive
i was EXO drum tech on that tour.
Chris Ritter Holy fuck you're part of this historical event! Tell us more sir.
weird i just saw this..lots more pics and shit at my FB page..FB/Chris Ritter FB/ Crittertv
DRI shit too...
Chris Ritter what kind of triggering software were you using for the drums? derp!
Man! I bet you was bored like an oyster back then. Ha ha ha! Keep rocking, mate! ☺☺☺
HERO
I love how Slayer gave props to a bunch of HC Punk bands. No real speed metal would have happened without HC.
punk is for posers.
@@KissSlowlyLoveDeeply-pm2je well, I got 19 up votes, gave you a downvote CZcams don't let you see. Your opinion is TRASH. You gonna tell Slayer they were wrong to do a punk covers album? Let's hear YOUR band.
@@KissSlowlyLoveDeeply-pm2jenope
@@KissSlowlyLoveDeeply-pm2je Punk is literally the roots for thrash, thrash is combination of hardcore PUNK and NWOBHM
The next night 4-4-1985 this show was in Cleveland, Ohio. I was there. I'll never forget that moment in metal history.
Nothing better than old school thrash metal 🤘
And early days of death metal too.Greetings from Bosnia,Samir
Got this on VHS when it came out (ordered from a "Metal Disc" catalog), along with the 'Bonded By Blood' LP !
Bought mine, 30+ years ago, from an independent music store. FORTUNATELY, I STILL HAVE IT!
Haven't heard metal disc in ages, always had gr8 stuff in it.
I had the VHS too. The ole black dude was so cool.
I was 12 when I bought the vhs and it was already 9 years after the tour..as soon as I saw what it was I was psyched and knew it was something special I always wanted an ultimate revenge against rap bc that the bs I had to grow up in but against disco was a good start especially with these bands in their heyday
Lol. Me too! 🤘👹🤘
As my late dad used to say, "this is the best thing since sliced bread".
RIP Jeff =(
Back in the day my ol' forth grade teacher looked just like Gary Holt in this video 😂
Her name was Judy Fisher. I remember this Ultimate Revenge video like it was yesterday. Thanks for the upload mayne \,,/,
and yet dave lombardo used to spin disco records as a teenager go figure
Paul Ballof was the Man!!!!!
Impresionante! Lo tenía en videocassette, lo miraba casi todos los días, y ahora está en CZcams y lo bajé de una.
Muy buen material, qué bandas...
This is the best thing on You tube right now !!!!!!!
Why did I have to be a little kid in 1985? This is an incredible bill.
I wasnt born for another 10 years, atleast you witnessed the 80's haha
I was born 20 years later haha
I don’t want to sound like a ‘born in the wrong generation’ douche but damn I wish I could’ve seen this shit live
Shit, I was only 9 when this came out. I wouldn’t know thrash metal for 2 more years
I wish I was alive in the 80s haha
Ultimate Revenge II Combat Tour was always my favorite!! Because of Death and Dark Angel
I'd say Death and Forbidden
Damn this brings me back ... Right fucken outta control 😤, SLAYER 🤘🩸🔥
Saw this lineup tour at the Hollywood Palladium 1985, great show
Wow at the Palladium.. how was the show?
@@Westcoasttrendkill it was cool, all great acts, classic thrash metal
Question Bro
When Venom played thier last encore. Did Abaddon knock down all his drum set. Not to play anymore encores? Sick gig by all means. \m/
@@Sui-CycoFM man its been so long, I dont think so, Abaddons drum kit was on top it was really cool
Sure was THERE got my slayer & venom shirts!!!.. 85 Hollywood palladium Pure raw power!!🤘
late 70's /early 80's i was big into punk in the L.A. area and to say that era was "special" is a gross understatement. after getting out of teen rehab around 85' or so even though i didn't know it at the time i was desparate for something new musically but also something to fill in the gaps of my drug habit.
this non hair band metal was nothing new but at the time it was new to me. as i said i was newly sober and no longer partaking of any substances not even caffeine or tobacco (the only ones still sanctioned by 12 step groups unless you include junk food) i was absoltely out of my gord depressed and miserable and bands like these 3 (yep seen em' all) are most of the reason i didn;t hang myself. i was going to at least3 gigs amonth and in addition to being an insanely good time it really gave me something to look forward to.
As melhores banda que já ouvi tenho 54 anos e curti muito
OUR METAL COMMAND
Where has this been all my life I have never seen this piece of fine metal video
One of the greatest shows ever
Haven't watched this in a loooong time! 🤘
I bought this back in the day and it blow me away !!! Venom , exodus and slayer !! real fucking metal !!!!
First time i see this vid on you tube,i can't imagine that i haven't seen it before! I was eleven back in those days..it made my life change..
This tour is the entire reason I was able to break free of numetal in the early 2000's. I grew up with real metal and lost my love for it till those days when I could compare it to contemporary music.
Vi este gran concierto en formato Beta en los 80's, era brutalidad pura, hoy tengo 54 años y veo con gusto como a evolucionado el Metal y lo disfruto de igual manera que en esos ayeres...Larga Vida al Metal extremo 🤘
One of my favorite videos ever! Cracks me up too!
One of the best tours!
The best concert I ever watched since I was a teenager, still rocking to all of the songs everyday !!!
I saw this tour when I was 20ish at the Fort Hesterly Armory in Tampa. I believe the 3 bands where rotating headliner on the tour. I enjoyed Exodus and Venom but even way back at their beginnings I could see Slayer was something special. As we all know they would become the Beatles, Zeppelin, Beethoven, Bach, Cannibal Corpse, James Brown, etc. of Thrash Metal. The best ever in their genre of music!
WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?!?
I just wonder how many lifes this show has changed. i saw it for the first time in 2006 when i was 13 years old and flipped my whole world upside down, Thrash metal has been my life ever since.
I still have the VHS tape of this...need to convert it digitally, glad to see this here so it's not lost
I got it on vhs as well
Que buena banda que gran recuerdo de mi juventud
memories , god im old
Tell me about it. I owned the vhs cassette about 1986. Damn it!
Love it
01:17 Honorable man
Amazing sound production
este combate es un inicio de la mejor musica hasta hoy 2018...saludos a todos los bangers de sudamerica ,,,, chile
Eu tinha este show picotado em uma fitinha k 7 tdk, estavam registradas apenas alguns clássicos do thrash metal como metal command, strike of the beast, die by the sword e outros, eu tinha 15 anos na época, hoje com 52 ainda viajo nessa época de total efervescência e criatividade na música pesada.
OH GOD, I LOVE IT!!! CLASSSIC!! YESSSSS!😁😁😁😁
Assisti em VHS na loja do Wilton em Americana_ SP na década de 80. Parabéns Ótima qualidade.
Exodus!!!!!
Great Video
Seen at theHollywood Palladium LA ALL DAY
strike of the beast.... definition!
(R.I.P) PAUL BALOFF(AMAZING VOICE)
Thanks, loved this🖤! If only MTV had been saturated with this back in the day. Screams, thrashing and spitting on "wankers" must have been great fun but Venom wanted to "do" Madonna?! Rascals. This should have 840K views, btw.
That Headbang from Kerry King: 08:15
This is the tour when Tom araya literally pissed all over chronos"s head and got a black eye for it which he wore all tour...
BEST!!!
1:35 mature hardcore black metal fan:)!..
HAHAHAH
Dickhead
RIP Jeff Hanneman and Paul Baloff
Buenisimo!
Satriani taught Gary Holt everything he knows - it is pretty obvious in that solo ... I imagine Satriani watching this and come next lesson giving him a " Lesson in sobriety " ( while playing live ) lol .
Rubbish.
Exoduuuus attack
El mejor video de la historia

57:13 Slayer - Evil Has No Boundaries
I wish shows were like this Still. People just don't get into it like they used to.
Was the Venom footage filmed somewhere else? Their stage looks enormous, especially the light show, doesn't look like the same place at all.
Yes. Because Mantas wasn't on the tour (because of chickenpox or whatever). So Venom didn't want footage with a replacement guitarist featured in the video.
also the venom coverage was a music viedo
it's not live
Fcking Tom Araya was hilarious. 'Speed....Aggression... VIOLENCE".
