Advanced Elements Expedition Elite: Rose Bay Beach to Shark Island 08.05.21

A beautiful sunset over Sydney Harbour, and a 15-minute kayak trip in the Advanced Elements Expedition Elite from Rose Bay Beach to Shark Island. It really doesn't get much better than this.

Rose Bay Beach is calm, shallow, and easily accessible by foot from New South Head Road. It's also dog-friendly, which is a bonus. You need to keep an eye open for ferries heading out from Rose Bay Wharf and Seaplanes taking off and landing. And there's usually a luxury charter yacht or two floating around the area.
Also note that landing at Shark Island is permitted. But it's part of Sydney Harbour National Park, so you'll need to pay a landing fee - which is about $AU7 at time of writing.
