- On a shaky night on the back end, the Rangers went toe to toe with the Flyers and emerged victorious! Goals By Mika Zibanejad, Vincent Trocheck, Alexis Lafreniere (2X), Jonny Brodzinski, and Adam Fox proved too much for Philly, as New York topped Philly in overtime. The Rangers would clinch the playoffs with the win (and Carolina loss) and notching coaching win number 800 for coach Peter Laviolette. Here's how it sounded on the home and away feeds! This was a fun one to be at in person!

Man the Flyers announcers are homers. 😂😂 "The high stick on Fox wasn't much but he sold it"😂😂😂 If a stick hits you in the face it's high sticking no matter how much you sell it or not. And then the "no interference call on Trocheck" on the shorty. Give me a break. Konecny was primarily responsible for that collision. He skated into Trocheck's path. You think Trocheck should get a penalty because he didn't go down?😂😂...... That's yet another thing I love about being a Rangers fan. Of course Sam and Joe are Rangers fans also and love to see them do well, but they also give the opposition plenty of credit and are very rarely homers and make stupid comments like Philadelphia and Boston's announcers.
Sam and Joe know more about the other teams players than their announcers.

Jesus christ...listen to the Flyers announcers whine about the high stick penalty. So sad that such a major team would have such ridiculously homer announcers. You expect that for the Sabres...but not the Flyers.

It's not just the Flyers, it's a Philly thing. Not sure about the Sixers, but the Eagles and Phillies announcers are also huge on air homers.
ESPN+ blows as a paid service: Once again they expected me to listen to the opposing teams announcers. WTF???? I demand the professionalism of the MSG broadcasters. Most other franchises have hacks as announcers. Not sure whom that speaks more poorly of - their fans or their team’s management. Had to turn off ESPN+ volume and pick up radio feed once I synchronized the timing.
We got it back, that high stick on frost was a good sell job too.
