Originally from Yokohama, Japan, I am a wife, a mother of two daughters, and a mother of a mini-Golden doodle dog. I’m a passionate entrepreneur, and besides my career in the real estate industry, I own two local restaurants in Southern Highlands.

Favorite off-strip is Nora’s on Flamingo; on-strip Lemongrass at Aria; downtown, Vic and Anthony’s at Golden Nugget

Mt Charleston sounds amazing - really need to go ! - Vegas really has everything for everyone 😀
I highly recommend it! I took my kids there last week and we went sledding. In the summer, it's a great escape because it's 20+ degrees cooler! Beautiful scenery and lots of great hiking trails 🥾🌲
The Pros for me was that you can go to the strip and play tourist but at the same time have a normal life off the strip. Cons for me was the weather for sure and the drivers are the worst. I think that's why car insurance was so high compared to texas where I used to live at.

YES INSURANCE is terrible
Con that no one brings up is the crazy driving/drivers. First thing I noticed here is almost every billboard is an injury lawyer advertisement.

Vegas has great RESTAURANTS - herbs and rye is good off SAHARA - Rainbow has tons of Asian cuisine - Robertos has great cheap Mexican food - tons of ASIAN cuisine - everything here for everyone IMO - even PERSIAN FOOD - Smiths is a great place to Grocery SHOP - nothing REMOTELY CLOSE in CA

Pros: #1, Las Vegas has some of the most absolutely gorgeous women in the world.
#2, Las Vegas is the #2 rated city for Interracial dating and marriage.
Honolulu,Hawaii is #1.

Vegas was my vacation destination for decades, however, my last visit literally 2 months ago for 20 nights, completely changed my viewpoint, restaurants are okay but very pricey from normal restaurants to fine dining. shows are pretty much decade old not much upgrades. stay in brand new Hilton/Conred, dirty, 20 nights, I was forced to change my unit 3 times due to the hygiene issue, finally got sick, hilton isn't care much... feel sorry to say, however, these are bloody facts.
Interesting feedback. Las Vegas is ever changing and there are so many new venues opening all the time. I've heard mixed reviews about Resorts World, but it's still a new hotel. They opened at the worst time ever. Email me when you plan to come back next and I'll point you into the right direction! TECH is growing in LV - all SV companies are laying off like crazy - AMZN, TWTR, GOOGLE and Facebook - here you can do UBER , SECURITY or CASINO DEALER which dont exist at all - actually its way more DIVERSE but lower pay to some extent

We have monsoon season here in September and we just experienced the wettest monsoon in a decade! I'm from Japan where we had four seasons too!
Outside the Strip the best Japanese restaurants for me are Sushi Hiroyoshi (Charleston&Jones) and Tonton Katsuya (WarmSprings&Durango(
I love Sushi Hiroyoshi! Tonton Katsuya is on my LIST! It's right by my office at The Uncommons but every time I drive by, there is a HUGE line. It must be really good! Can't wait!
@@KaoriLuxuryRealEstate you'll love it ! Best Katsu in the valley! Theres a line but we usually get a table in 30mins so its not too bad 🙂 try arriving before 8pm coz they usually dont accept anymore guests after that. All the staff are Nihon-jin so its really authentic 😀

You have to put it into perspective. If you are comparing affordability with expensive states like California and Washington, Las Vegas is very affordable.

SCHOOLS are not bad if you stay in the SOUTH like SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS, 7 Hills and ANTHEM are all FANTASTIC

on HUMIDITY here is night and day compared to 70% in CA or 95% on EAST COAST - 95 here is nothing - even 100 is nothing - in CA you pass out at 90 due to the TERRIBLE HUMIDITY - only TIME Its HUMID is during the MONSOON which we had a lot last year

TOP 3 CONS - 24/7 CONSTRUCTION , STRONG WIND, and BAD TERRIBLE DRIVERS imo that are worse then LA
I've seen worse in LA when I lived there 18 years ago. Lots of construction yes, for a while :)
