I really love this bike, seems like a stainless steel frame. Great channel, keep paddling.
Thank you! The frame is great steel but there is plenty of rust down around the bottom bracket 😅
Others crying because big BB drop.I think it nuts :) Love this build!Vintage frames are the best!!
Thank you! Yeah the frame is really cool, I bought it second hand for only 35 bucks! I don’t have a problem with the low bb for pedals strikes at all, and I have 170mm cranks and wide pedals :) but I think the higher riding position of a track bike with higher bb is more fun for fixed gear actually, so I do miss it
cool frame!
Thanks! I like it a lot. Considering maybe painting the raw parts white? Or just keep as it is?
Aweome. I love the old school lugged steel frames. Glad you got rid of those old bars, they look really uncomfortable. Exciting to see you try brakeless too!
Thanks! I got the new stem today, will test it out tonight :) new stuff always fun
breakless for the win
looks great
Thank you! Yeah, as long as I have alternatives I think I will go brakeless for some rides from now on. When the conditions are great and I’m not riding with roadies :D
Where did you get that flat bar from? It looks really nice!
It’s a Specialized, I got it on a bike I bought second hand last year. (My video Fake fixie…)The grips are Red Cycling Products, a cheap brand from Bikester :)
@@addvurtbikes thanks for the reply!!
@@addvurtbikes where do you buy your fixed gears bikes second hand? Any websites you could recommend?
@@elliotney2722 well i just found it on Facebook marketplace. There are a couple of Instagram accounts that sell really good second hand stuff, like pistamercato.
