Cant believe I found this 8 years later. It's so sad that all the players I've grown up with on teams like this are either on other teams or retired. The Cards don't feel the same right now.
The last year the Cardinals were an elite franchise. Since then it has been a downhill spiral to an organization that has become content with just getting into the postseason instead of winning championships.
Certainly 2015 was one of the more disappointing seasons, if you are a Cardinals fan. They won 100 games in the regular season, but were embarrassed by the Cubs in the NLDS.
