This was recorded a year ago thousands of miles away and I'm watching it on my little cell phone screen. Still, it's almost too much for me. My inner caveman is just overwhelmed.
Yeah these videos are from last September and the next videos from THP will be early season whitetail. THP has the very best content and the best video footage of any channel out there.
Felt like I was standing beside Ted the whole time. Kinda caught a cramp in my leg trying to be still. 😂. This video/experience is going to be hard to beat. Awesome!
Our 3yo autistic son watches this video on repeat daily. Thanks to his dad and papa he has grown a LOVE of hunting videos and this one is his obsession. Autistic kids often become fixated on one thing and this is his! He acts our the entire 45 min video with his own nerf bow, a stuffed deer and he makes an elk bugle that is INSANELY accurate, out of a toy plastic quiver. We have some videos of him doing this. We just want to thank you, because it has helped him come out of his shell, grow a huge love of hunting, and you guys. He watched this one, a solid dozen times today. No joke. ♥️
I would say a complete pass through on a frontal shot of an elk is pretty good evidence that the Ranch Fairy heavy arrow set up improves penetration!

One thing I’ve learned with this series is that hunting - and especially elk hunting - has exponentially increased odds of success when you see it as a team sport…the way THP has always done it. I have never, ever been more proud to hear my music than with these friends on epic after epic hunt. What a series!!!!!!

So true. I actually didn’t realize until after the bull was shot that I was on my feet and about 3’ from the TV. Lol. I’m still fired up a little. Awesome hunt and great video work. Felt like I was there.

"Just be patient and let them do their thing". I've never hunted elk but for everything I've hunted that is usually the best approach. The element of surprise is way more advantageous than the 1 in 1000 chance you get an animal fired up with a bunch of calling. Never interrupt your prey when they are making a mistake.

I remember watching this hunt on Born and Raised Outdoors, but seeing the whole 12 days with the first elk and bad shot show just how much of a emotional roller coaster this hunt was. Thank you for sharing.

My vice and addiction was snuff for a long time. I’m a month without and you fill my void with these videos lol for real. I can’t wait for bow opener in WV. It’s also hell waiting a week living vicariously through you to fully redeem yourself!
Not comparing at all. I started chewing at 17 and I am 36 now. I haven’t chewed in a year coming up in September and it was the best thing I have done in awhile. Stay head strong brother.

Hang in there man! It’s been 3 years ago since i quit and I still crave it! You can do it- it’s hard but you can. Especially hard during hunting season when all of your buddies are around and still chewing-really sucks. From the southern coalfields in WV. Have a good season.
I started on Beachnut at 11 and switched to Copenhagen at 15. I quit when I was 39. Best decision of my life. I shook for 3 days. I was going through a tin a day and putting it in my upper lip at night when I went to bed. Nothing left in the morning. I’m 59 now and have never missed it
To make a frontal shot after the earlier bad frontal was the icing on the cake, congrats, looked like lots of fun, maybe I go 1 day before its too late
I’m so grateful THP saves these hunts leading into season. I watched this on Born and Raised and it was awesome. It’s still just as awesome now on THP!
I swear, every time Aaron is the shooter, or Ted’s involved. It ends up being some of the most insane hunts and wild camera footage. Awesome stuff, i’ve hiked out west, I’m a PA deer hunter, now I want to hunt out there, specifically for Elk. What an amazing part of the world and animal that inhabits it. Watched all 45 minutes. Insane stuff fellas, well done.

Aaron, I don't often comment on these videos but the series on this Elk hunt was one of the best I think I've ever seen. Usually I fast forward to the kill video but I absolutely enjoyed the entire series and watch some twice... I almost felt like I was there with you guys. my heart was pounding when those Elk were moving in from all directions, just incredible! The camera work and editing was fantastic as well, National Geographic would be proud to show this series. Congrats on your success. Mike

At 87 I would say that I’m one of the senior hunters here with over 💯 bow killed 🦌 deer and 2 bulls..This has to be the best hunting video I have ever had the pleasure to view .. Friendship, camaraderie, selfishness, excellent photography, everything went perfect 👍. I especially appreciated the cutting up and sharing the freezing process..Thank you guys and much success here in 2021 and be safe..

With elk being a dream hunt for many, myself included, I could only imagine that I would have had the same reaction y'all did, after an experience like that. That was absolutely insane, and I'm a little on the jealous side because that was definitely a "dream come true" hunt/moment. Congratulations on one hell of a hunt!

I remember watching this whole series last season on Born and Raised channel, and when I saw that you guys put it out I just couldn't wait to play it again. It's just a master piece, a truly awesome hunt, the kind of hunt that you dream in your wildest dreams... and this guys make it happen just so we can keep on dreaming and waiting for our chance. My heart was racing just watching this. It’s almost the same feeling when you’re communicating with turkeys, it gets your heart pumping. I could only imagine being there for it.

It was a great experience to be in camp with these guys for a few days. My biggest take away is how hard these guys work to make the magic happen. Their dedication to the craft and the hard work that goes into it a video of this quality cannot be overstated. Great job and congrats again on a fine bull and an INCREDIBLE hunt!

I've watched all kinds of elk hunting videos from numerous outlets but this one is by far and away my favorite. Originally saw this on B.O.R but couldn't find it again so I went to Instagram and found you and then found your own episode. I subscribed and emailed it to myself so I can always have it. I gotta say, you and Ted are made for this. Elk hunting should be near the top of your list sir. Kody and Tyler were awesome for sure. Never saved/ emailed a hunt to myself before. Man this is good!!!

I guess you didn’t see two episodes ago we’re it went in the shoulder 3 inches and broke off. It’s all about we’re you hit them.

@@garrettstraffon608 yeah on a deflected shot right into one of thickest bones on an elk. If you want to use that to say the heavy set up failed... I'd like to see the set up that would have worked with that exact same off kilter shot.
@@drewsroo yea I heard the same thing you guys heard. And I’ll i seen was a elk that was facing straight on. They never showed the arrow hitting a branch but that’s what was said. The middle mark in the front center is a rough shot. A little left a little right your in the shoulder. But yea normally they show the arrow hit the branch on the hunting public

By far my favorite THP story wow. I mean I was on the edge of the toilet seat the whole time lol Good group of guys happy to see you get that bull on the ground. Warb said it best it was a grind and WE did it! Very Humble guys I’ve got a lot of respect for THP. But Warb is a damn good hunter I hate to see him beat himself up over a bad shot on the second day. The way it unfolded and the story was so epic. Congrats!

This might be the best hunting video I've ever seen. I have never been so engrossed. When I saw the video was 45 minutes long I almost didn't start it because it was so long, but decided to anyways. Next thing I know Aaron has a bull on the ground and I didn't realize it had already been 35 minutes. Great footage, great calling, and a great shot. That pass through on a frontal shot was impressive.

This is an amazing video and will be stories told for the rest of your lives. As a standalone film this would be incredible to watch, but what makes it so much better is the rest of the series. It's too tempting to edit it down to just the thrill and glory and forget about the work and heartbreak that makes hunting ... hunting.
