Uh then you definitely ain't old school. Back in the day when people would notice and compliment for having a aftermarket pioneer or alpine stereo was a real thing. Good ole days

@@txkingg oh by car manufacturers integrating their stereos into their vehicles infamously such as Chrysler and GM. Yeah those times are behind us and you are an example of what car audio had become these days. Unless your Tacoma had Android auto and apple carplay, makes no sense to keep that factory head unit. More features, retain oem features and functionality, and most importantly much better sound quality with aftermarket radio

I have a 2020 f350 with a B&o system (stock 8 inch sub ) can I add this to the system ? And if so whats easiest way?
Was that the 4 ohm or 2 ohm Kicker subwoofer and why?
It sounds easier to launch rockets to ISS than instal A stereo these days.
Where do you guys source your crimp connectors? I've tried a few from Amazon and some are ok, some suck. I haven't found the yellow connectors you're using to cap wires. I put a little piece of heat shrink and pinch the end with pliers while it's hot so it seals together. I also think your insulated bullet connectors look like they're better than the ones I've been using.

Gents, how do you know if an amp can handle a 1 ohm load? I dont think I understand the ohm rules in audio. If a speaker is a 4 ohm and I give it power from a 2 ohm rated amp is that bad?
The amp rating is that it’s stable at that resistance the speaker rating is actual load so a 4ohm speaker the amp sees 4 ohms
Do you have a link for that t harness. Didn't find any Access on Amazon. I did find a Metra Metra electronics AX-DSP-NIS1. Says harness for AX dsp.

that harness looks similar to what my mazda 6 conector has! do you know if this fits a 2018 mazda 6 @fivestar
sethesenuts just because it looks the same it doesn’t mean it wired the same, there are harnesses for every car just look up your model

Ok so that's a 2 ohm dual sub and you wired it parallel for 1 ohm but the amp is 500 watts at 1ohm and and the sub is 400 watts rms? Aren't you overpowering the sub?
Kicker also dynoed that amp at 642 watts at 1ohm 😳
