@Amaryllis Your ideas and out comes are inspirational. Your explanations are good. And your use of spacers for reinforcement in-between the arches - I can confirm these add stability and strength to the project.
Initially, my cardboard projects suffered warpage. I began applying stacks of books to prevent flat surface warpage. I've learned to use less glue. 😂
Also, using dulled out rolling cutter blades are fine for cutting out cardboard . .
. . though an electric cutting tool would help get to the exciting part of assembly.

The great thing about making your own furniture is that they will be exactly how you want 😊 These side tables are simple to make but take some time because of all the layers that needs to dries. Have fun DIYing. Merci pour ton chouette commentaire ❤️

I'm not as precise as you because I have an aversion to meassuring 🤣 but I made 2 and they came out pretty good! And sturdy. Going to paper mache them today to disguise any wonky bits and paint and will share on IG for sure! ❤️

Thanks. It took me a weekend to make both tables. Mostly because I had to wait for the layers of paper and the coats of paint to dry.
