We landed 6 salmon on the Columbia River on October 8, 2023. Great day of fishing.

- The season is winding down but somebody forgot to tell the fish to quit biting. We had plenty of action and brought home some nice chrome Columbia river salmon. Fishing with David Pyle.

Great way to end the season David and crew! We ended the season by going to Kauai for our 40th wedding anniversary, Oct 8, the day of your video. First time to Hawaii. I notice quite a few locals plunking the beaches with large surf rods. Do you know what they are fishing for? I stopped to ask one guy, but he was leaving, and didn't get a chance to chat. Looks fun.
Hope you have a wonderful trip with your wife. I'm not sure what they would plunk for but maybe papio?
Nice job thank for our trip we learned a lot and we used what we learn eachtime we were out. Last weekend was windy and not a lot of fishing.

Sorry John, I took a few months off from my CZcams channel but now I'm back and ready for Springers. I did a Salmon Fishing presentation for a pretty sharp group that evening.
Best time too fish down there when there is a decent run. No boats, fish are snappy in october

Sorry for the delay, I've been overseas for the past month. My boat is a Duckworth Pacific Navigator 215 with a Yamaha F150. Full length of boat is 23' 8". This is my second Duckworth Pac Nav. It's a great boat and there was a lot of thought put into what I purchased. Find my number on my website if you need advice.

Usually I'm near Bonneville but we had to get out of water before 10am. Worked out pretty good.
