The 135th Anniversary Song of Ananda College is a culmination of the ceremony held on the 16th November 2021, 02.00.p.m onwards at the Kularathne Hall. On this day, several initiatives were completed and launched, alongside this song, to the public by the Prefects' Guild such as,
- The Official Virtual Museum of Ananda College - An effort to preserve all records of alma mater, digitally, and educate the future generations on the varied and diverse true history behind Ananda College
- The Anada Rawaya Music Album - A composition of all the songs released in honour of our alma mater available on almost all streaming platforms including iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud etc.
What's special about this song?
This song was written, performed, composed and produced completely by the students of Ananda College.
So, this is an invitation by the Prefects' Guild of Ananda College to all our fellow Anandians, past present and future to join with us in celebrating the past 135 years but also look forward to reform and renew the legacy of this institution that is close and dear to our hearts.
(Disclaimer - Due to the recent political turmoil and economic unrest within the country the Prefects’ Guild of Ananda College delayed the launch to stand in solidarity with the nation)

There are some unforgettable milestones to be found in reminiscing about 15 years of my school life. (2007 January to 2022 March)
Entering #AnandaCollege in 2007 was a privilege in my life and it was valuable to be able to get an education through the mentorship of perfect teachers through experience... and getting 9A's for the OL's.
It should be noted that having the opportunity to join the Scout Group in Grade 08 is a turning point in life.
Also, having the opportunity to demonstrate my leadership in the school as a cadet through the Naval Cadet Squadron in 2016 is a great result of many bitter experiences.
It is a matter of pride for the student body of the college to have the opportunity to join the Student Parliament and carry on its activities successfully and to be able to win the favor of the students by obtaining a high number of preferential votes in the college.
The experience and opportunities gained during school life by applying to the Ananda College Prefects' Guild in the year 2018 are immense.
It was also a valuable opportunity in my school life to finally be elected as the Chief Senior Supervisor of the College Senior Executive Board.
