- The plaintiff says he met the defendant after he moved from Iowa to Arizona for a fresh start, and the two became good friends. When he went out of town, he left his dog with the defendant, and the dog was injured while in her care, so he’s suing. The defendant insists the plaintiff is only suing her to get attention. She’s countersuing because she claims the plaintiff defamed her.

Moreover he let the dog stay in a home where he said defendant’s daughter was “bad” and he believed she could have harmed the dog based on the daughter’s past behaviors.

I don't have any sympathy for folks who mistreat or harm animals in any way. If you cannot take the proper care and control of your animals then you shouldn't be allowed to own them. Nonetheless it's bad to ignore red flags and warning signs that may show in the beginning from people because more times then not they indicate who they really are.
