    Great demo, Which holds up better after washing? I always feel the sublimation will stay longer.

      @HeatPressNation  Před rokem +9

      Yes, sublimation will stay the longest as it dyes the fabric, whereas standard heat transfer paper sits on top of the fibers.

      Use cutter plotter like a cameo/ cricut

    • @HeatPressNation

      With sublimation only the ink transfers onto the garment. There is no film or background from the paper that transfers. Inkjet heat transfer paper does have a film/background, so that has to be cut out with a vinyl cutter. This video better explains what contour cutting is: czcams.com/video/i2bDOatjc60/video.html

      @@SrJonAnthony ? i literally had the same answer as the person who posted this video... lol you have to cut it out using a cutter plotting machine for dark transfers - you can read the reply on this question again 🙂

      Hi there! For the sublimation transfer we used a Sawgrass SG500 printer and for the inkjet heat transfer paper we used a Pixma Canon ix6280. If you have a standard inkjet printer, you can use inkjet heat transfer paper on garments :)

    • @HeatPressNation
      @HeatPressNation  Před 9 měsíci

      Hi there! Sublimation is the heat transfer that is permanent and the most long lasting as you are dyeing the threads rather than the ink sitting on top of the garment. Standard heat transfer paper (inkjet or laser) lasts about 25+ washes. Hope this helps!

      @@irenegarcia118That is my thinking. I use heat transfer type paper in a pinch, for like my nieces and nephews who want a new shirt at least once a week it seems, lol. It's just that the transfers leave a rubber-ish, plastc+ish, heavy feel. They are great dor hats and bags, etc. though. At least in my experience.$
