these videos are so great, keep them coming and great work!!!
This is pretty much the most beautiful, sleek, fast, and I could go on and on with the adjectives. I absolutely love it. Wow!
Great review. Stunning visuals. Please do another when the wind is above 20 and show us what she can do flying an A2.
super cool yacht. great video too. keep 'em coming... thanks!
A very good review. Toby is much easier to understand than previous productions and quite thorough given the time available and wind strength. It is a bit sad to see the Swan classic design romance being replaced though albeit for a modern, fast, exciting club racer. I guess this is what the market wants now.
Toby makes the best reviews. Good stuff.
I honestly never seen Toby be more excited about a review than this, lol.. Maybe the Gunboat 55 review for the shear speed but he's clearly a monohull guy :)
You should watch his interview with the owner of Dragonfly - Jens - that makes trimarans. They're onboard a Dragonfly 40 at some boat show.
A truly intriguing boat, fabulous music - how rare is that? - hardly any Toby Yeah's, and Hodges in top form. Sold!
Love the way he puts everything in perspective. Great stuff. I'm hooked.
Great design change for Swan, finally someone has had the balls to build a boat without a chart table. I can't remember the last time a chart table was actually used when sailing .
I used one about 5 years before my son was born. He's 15 now.
What a beauty !
The shape really seems to scream out "My name is speed ! Let me show you my world !"
And a Dreadnought-bow...- I really like this shape.
I only wished I knew how to sail properly ( and have some money at hand, of course !).
Really gorgeous!
Please! the name of musit of the overture? Tks
Awesome Mate
toby, how did you get this sweet gig?
AMAZING , THANKS
Damn Toby you have the best job ever!
Man, I wish I could have toys like that!
I'd like to see a drag race between this and the Solaris 50.
why no nav station though
Must have
I like the way you roll off the stern never to be seen again!
the designers executed perfectly i think.
this is a boat of my style
Gorgeous boat. Swan can do little wrong...I am surprised at the traveler setup. Not sure how I feel about the guys that are setting the running back stays literally standing on the traveler lines ? I'd move the turning blocks outboard to keep the lines under the gunwales and out of the way of tripping on them ?
If you are into super-fast and super-light sailing boats, maybe you should also review the Ferraris of the seas: M.A.T Sailing Yachts.
I love Toby Hodges. Somebody needs to cast him in Peaky Blinders.
Why didn't you comment that there are no primary winches?? They use the pit winches for foresail handling... In my opinion this is a really bad idea. Plus the bowsprit is just too thick. This ain't no swan.
Big night out Toby?
Finally clear why they only left the last 2:30 mins for the lower. Nothing there.
Yes for a racing boat, it’s pretty luxe. For a swan though it’s pretty sparse. You can’t just throw a few thin cushions around and call it a swan.
In terms of hull design and deck and sailing performance it looks pretty stunning though.
please go and sail the boat I n some waves, not swimming pool conditions
The subtitling is hilarious
Hardly makes any wake
Reverse bow on a monohull? Dafuq!
It's been around for some time now after the new Volvo Ocean Race boats (Open 65s, Farr Design)
Great review, but you and I have different tastes.
Looks like a J boat . . .
Looks like something Greg Elliot designed.
A rich man's weekend toy.
Looks like a production yard boat heavily inspired by the Imoca 60. With that class' penchant for breaking in two, demasting or capsizing I wonder how safe these boats are.
OK, I know how I am going to spend my first million (or so). Sorry, honey; the next million is all yours.
looks like a lot of other production white boats.
This boat described as "aggressive, modern, masculine and stylish, is a pure racer. Features: slippy deck, extremely deep keel, terrible position for the helmsman etc. Doesn't make it a family-friendly boat, even for a simple weekend.
Too much racer for my taste.
