Я вобще заметил что с местными бывает не получается разговор не потому что мы друг друга не понимаем. А потому что говорить особо в принцепе не о чем. Вот так порой сидим молчим и улыбаемся . Ты думаешь сейчас заговорит и будеш переспрашивать и тупить. А они походу думают ну что ему говорить . Все ровно ответ будет односложный и сухой. И так беседа не вяжется. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

it happened to me when i started to speak eng in Australia
later the more practice i did , the more fluent i am
just practise speaking in eng., you will do so
for writing, we can have time to respond. i mean, we do not need to give instant response as speaking
Maybe u should talk to yourself at first. It really helps, souds and looks weird, but helps ;-p

You are right Marina and this is one of my problem, I learned English in the Phils, but what Ive learned there is quiet different and the way they speak here in US I sometimes could not understand them. Sometimes I feel embarrassed. But you’re here helping and guiding us and Im so grateful ♥️

Yes, singing! It is a really good tip which I always practice and it helps me a lot to improve pronanciation. Record your singing and listen. Recommend it, too.

I can totally understand everything that you say. because you pronounce the words perfectly, it's the "grammar pronounce", it's what we learn in the schools etc. I think the people who aren't English natives speakers understand more each other than when are talking with a native, because we don't have "grammatical addictions".

To be completely honest, I don't need to use subtitle for me to understand the way you mouth your words, you are really a good speaker.
The aspiration on "what" is represented by the letter "h" and it is that aspiration that distinguishes the word "what" from "watt" which is a measure of work often used in talking about electricity. However, a lot of Americans pronounce "what" as if it were "watt".
