I AM OBSESSED WITH CAROUSELS which means I have some things I wanna say 🤣, 1. The chariots aren't just for scaredy cats, they're also to be safer/more inclusive for people who can't straddle a horse! Safety 👍. 2. There are actual double decker carousels and they are SO FRICKING COOL but barely any exist anymore because like 70% of carousels don't exist anymore, and also having two layers is, understandably, kinda bonkers hard to function and kindda dangerous if unkept :)

For the Riviera kit,
I had 2 ideas :
- one being a place for mermaids to hang-out whimsical, romantic, ancient ruins around the river mixed with the get together debug items of the ruins, flowers, etc (kinda like the famous Ophelia painting)
- the other being like a luxury hotel with pool in Selvadorada jungle mixing wild life, nature, temples and a very chic, minimalist style ^^
First one can probably be a spa or a pool side bar, second one I would use for rent to make it like a hotel but it can also probably work as a vacation rental

Anyone who says those curtains belong at the top of the windows is wrong 😂 they're correctly placed where you put them mid window because they're only there to give people sitting by the window privacy while they eat, and lets light into the building from above. Very very common in European cafés and bistros.
Yeah, they're not uncommon in homes either, like in the kitchen or in street-facing windows at ground level specially. I've seen most other sims creators put them at the top and it makes me cringe 😵💫
Oh,that makes sense! In Australia,they're usually at the top,for the purpose of being able to see outside but block out the glare of the sun. They're usually found in kitchens rather than cafes though and are shorter than the half ones in sims,so maybe it's a different style of curtain all together.

I've never heard of that kind of curtain used that way (besides those layered ones in front of other curtains in period films and fancy places, but I thought they where meant to hide hardware). It makes sense to use them to avoid glare, though, now that you say it. Very interesting!

For the Riviera Kit maybe a campground with a secret waterfall? Like the waterfall would maybe have a secret cave behind it. The sleeping bags, s'mores, fire pit, lanterns, and eco lifestyle and outdoor retreat stuff would make an awesome campsite!
what if you guys did a camp site!! You could have some cabins, the main hall for breakfast and some bathrooms and a little trail leading to the waterfall from the new riviera pack! Just idea I thought would be so whimsical, especially, with the string lights amongst the trees and little campfire with some chairs to roast marshmallows of course.

regarding the curtains: short/half curtains at the middle section of a window are actually called cafe curtains (perfectly named for this video). If you placed short curtains at the top of the window they would be more like valance curtains, although valance curtains are usually all one sheet and used more as decor/embellishment to the top part of windows/drapes/curtains to make them look more fancy and cover the curtain rod and such (sort of like a bed skirt is for a bed)
How about a mountainside spa retreat with waterfalls and a sauna with tropical plants? Maybe a little juice bar on the top level with outdoor seating? Trees with circular seating around the bases, pedicure and manicure stations, mostly wood and tile with calming colors?

Definitely should do a pool bar with the riviera retreat kit. I did one with a swim up bar and it’s sooo cute. I build a pergola over the top of it too with STRING LIGHTS!!! Would love to see y’all’s version of something like that.

I could see y’all making a ‘secret’ (not actually secret) lot with the new Riviera Retreat kit - string lights, lots of plants. Like an overgrown or hidden paradise, but make it a pool lot!
And if y’all are still looking for ideas for the Crystal Creations pack, you could make a spell-casters shop who makes ‘magical’ jewelry - and the shop is shaped like a cauldron!
You could use the waterfalls to like hide secret spring. You make like a cave thing with rocks, and either a pond inside or that bathtub that is meant for a spa type thing. You could also make a small castle behind it. Or you could make like a spa with different options to soak in. Or if possible shrink the waterfall and have it come out of a statue type thing going into a pool or pond make it seem like it is part of the statue. I haven't played Sims in so long but watching you guys has made I wanted to play again. You guys are so fun to watch and just listen to. Love the vids and you.
For the other pack you guys should do a lake house with a massive lake that has a bunch of twists and turns and waterfalls that can be used for white water rafting and canoeing. The actual house part should be a tiny little lake house with 2 bedrooms. Also all of this should be sponsored by the whale bert water park so it’s all whale bert themed.😊👍

Bombas is absolutely awesome. In my job we work with a lot of people experiencing homelessness and usually bombas are given to them in a care package they receive at nearby shelters. I have so much respect for the company❤️

For the riviera kit, what about a Bridge Spa? The pool goes under the building in a "lazy river" loop and inside is just all the selfcare stuff you can fit.

With the second kit you could make a Spanish inspired holiday villa that would be cool with all the warm tones and you could add around the sides ancient ruins which was commented by another viewer or second choice maybe a Mayan style temple. Also I absolutely love your content! I can’t get enough of it and your enthusiasm and energy is amazing and you both have helped me get through the toughest few months. Doing a sort of vintage toy box/vanity set? idk, the Carousel Cafe seems like it could be a cool place to go out from! When you said it looked like a music box I just had the thought of all these buildings looking like cute vintage items, like a jewelry box or a tea set or something.
Concept: building a world but *every lot is inspired by a different Pokémon type.* It would be perfect now that you’re done with your food court, and we know how much you love Pokémon.
It would be so fun to watch you guys redesigning Willow Creek or Oasys Springs (21 lots so you guys could make extra buildings like a Pokémon centre, a Pokémart, a Pokémon daycare etc) or maybe a smaller world where you do a four story elite 4 with each one being a different type etc.

Do like a tropical retreat with caves you can swim in (if possible), fun, cute stringlights and waterfalls, rock pools, hot tubs covered in like rocks or ivy, so all nature and stuff. Still a public pool, you just have to pay entrance, and i feel like its more of an escape for stressed adults than for big families. Would love to see yall try this, but of course, build what you like and what you feel comfortable building!
1)Cafe with hot springs or waterfalls but it has a basement where the walls are glass and you can view fish.
2) hotel or motel with a giant pool that blends into the scenery giving it a rainforest vibe.

You guys should make a layout for a house, you know, the specific size and location you want for the bathroom, the kitchen, the bedrooms, the closets, add a basement and attic space too!

I know you gals probably have a million video recommendations but I have a really really cool and unique one!
You make a house, but when decorating, you can only use the letters of the alphabet.
But, you can only use so many items starting with a particular letter (this is excluding the particular names because a counter is a counter, a plant is a plant etc etc)
You have to use at least one of every letter in the alphabet, but you have a maximum of ten items per letter.
I think this will be a very unique challenge, should you choose to accept it!

I'm just thinking of the ones near where I live and it's just " hey come and walk through many winding paths of nature with varying degrees of kept-ness and here's a place in the corner with bathrooms and snacks". It doesn't fit with pool, but it does with waterfall. Cause other than that, I guess maybe a hotel or something Celestial Park style, but idk how doable either of those are. For riviera and bistro vibes, you could do a fancy country club? With a bistro, garden, indoor/outdoor pool, gym, event spaces, etc.
My idea for the Riviera build kit is a hot tub/pool bar and spa! Have a bar area that's actually sunken into the pool for interest. Absolutely love this build of the carousel, it turned out gorgeous. I absolutely love how you both are able to repurpose items!

For the Riviera Retreat it would be adorable if you made a cute B&B with an old Italian lady, renting out the rooms her children have outgrown. Something about it seems TOO adorable
Would love to see a wellness resort, kinda like in the woods or smth. Imagine like in an old rainforest with ruins of old civilization? The waterfalls would be so pretty in this and you can put pools with different water swatches and co like an onsen
For the other building pack something like a public bath would be cool!! Like hot springs (yes just like the ones you see in Japan) with a little hotel!!!! People could go there to relax for a weekend, to be around nature and relax on the hot springs.... some public and others private too!!!

From what I've seen, these curtains are in the middle like that if the window is on the ground floor, so that no one can look into the house at the bottom while light still comes in on the top. On higher floors they can be used like normal curtains
This by far has to be one of my favorite builds! It’s so quaint and cozy something about looking at it makes me think that at night that there would be a ton of fireflies, those are like if string lights were an animal

Back in the Disney Challenge during the Ariel part, I had her bedroom surrounded by a pool, and then when she went to the 2nd floor it connected to the rest of the house. and honestly one of the coolest builds, and the sims LOVED to swim laps in circles.
for the pool one, you could do something like a mermaid lair/palace, with like one giant lake with lily pads under the buildings! and waterfalls, bc obviously

Riviera idea - walled garden/feature garden like you get at a park! Plenty of excuses for landscaping and rocks and ponds. And you can do a little tea house maybe for the build.
Riviera Kit idea!
France! The French Riviera is the must do option for inspiration, and it also means you could do French Chateau which means more use for the castle kit. If you want the story element you could do an old French Chateau that this couple has bought (Vampire and Werewolf?) and are now converting into a Bed and Breakfast / Spa / Hotel!

Riviera Retreat build Idea! A Resort similar to the Calilo Resort in the Greek Islands. It has waterfall pools and beautiful rock formations. Bonus points if you can make the hanging outdoor beds! ❤
For the new pool kit thing you should make a house but it is a giant water fountain on the outside and then Wilbert themed on the inside ❤😂

That Riviera kit actually got me inspired to build in the Sims again after a long time. I made a luxury vacation rental, with waterfalls all along one side of the pool and the new pergola on an elevated platform facing the ocean, with some lounge chairs underneath.
All you have crazy creative ideas and I was out here just thinking a hotel because they could do an indoor & outdoor pool and then a cafe and check-in area and they can just reuse the stuff in each room so they don’t have to redo every room, and string lights on the balcony’s cause obv.

Maybe for the pack you can do a spa retreat!! I think it would be an awesome idea and it's something you guys haven't done before! It could be one of those outdoorsy spa retreats that are heavily surrounded by nature and with the waterfall you can have a little pool area for the guest to relax.

Calf curtains go on the top of windows, they usually in older houses
My grandparent live out in the country where privacy isnt an issue because we preserve forests (they live in a older tiny house on a good sized property)
