      Yes, but what she didn’t show, was when she switched off videoing, she knocked the whole lot over, including over the scales, then she jumped up to try and minimise the carnage, but knocked her table over instead, which hit a bookshelf with all her paints, which sent some shelves crashing down spilling more paint onto the floor, then she slipped and fell head first into the bookshelf briefly rendering herself concussed and wound up with green, blue, yellow and red hair. Oh, hang on, that wasn’t her, that was me yesterday.

      I agree !!! And I also think the artists personality & genuineness & willingness to help others become better skilled are all just as important as the art & even without ever actually seeing Gemma I would say she is a beautiful person with a beautiful heart, soul & personality. I will just not subscribe to or support an artist who acts like they are better than anyone else or who treat their subs badly or are unwilling to help or even be thankful for their subs who have helped make their channels what they are. I have unsubscribed from several artists who are just all about the money & could care less about helping anyone & there are several.popular artists who are like that & hide behind a very fake personality & try to act all sweet & nice but then behind the scenes treat not 9nly their subs badly buy also fellow artists with well established channels. I have a very good friend who has a popular channel and she is all about the art & teaching & helping others to build on their own skills , always willing to help anyone having an issue but some of the things that other more popular artists do & say to her and others is just awful & its always the ones people think ate so nice & sweet... irs all just a show to get subs & as many views as they can per video & they are making THOUSANDS of dollars a month from CZcams but dont have the time of day for anyone else. So yes without even ever seeing or hearing Miss Gemma we can just tell she is a beautiful person inside and out & has been blessed with a beautiful talent & skills and I'm VERY thankful that she shares this beauty with all of us. I wish all artists were as kind & winderful.as she is . Maybe one day she will surprise us all & make an appearance. Lol. Bit either way she has a fan for life in me & I'm sure thousands more !!!! But watching on my phone screen its a little hard to tell what the consistency is...I know it looks pretty fluid to me but I was wondering if you have tried this technique & what you would compare the consistency to ?? I learned to just eyeball everything & have never used a scale or even own one & I never use the Glue All but did get some specifically for Gemmas technique & it also helps to thicken up.any paints that I may have thinned out too much & that way I don't have to use more paint & keep mixing & mixing lol . So if you can think of something to describe the consistency I would super appreciate it. Gemma, that was a beautifully created video which was so basic that it was very easy to follow and learn from. You did a fantastic job with the process by not including sound which made it very easy to follow. So simple and so very effective. Thank you taking the time and effort to do a great job.

    Thankyou for this wonderful tutorial, Gemma! Just a suggestion, if you add a couple of round pebbles in the containers, it helps to give a good shake before preparing to use the paints! A great tip, i hope others will also appreciate.

    You are an amazing artist! Thank you for this. I have a problem though. I can't read the measurements on the paper for some reason. I wonder if you could answer that. It looks like half paint & half glue with enough water for the right consistency.

    • @DesignerGemma77
      @DesignerGemma77  Před 5 lety +4

    • @DesignerGemma77
      @DesignerGemma77  Před 5 lety +22

      Sorry, I now know your question. Why did not I know your question.
      I put glue on every paint I use. The reason for putting glue is to let the paint dry slowly and increase the working time. And it helps not to crack after the paint has dried.
