For instance the mission he gave to Yassili and the context of this conversation was to uncover a 9000 year old original collectors edition of the Book of Lorgar. He does drop a lot of truth bombs on her all at once, however considering the main thing he admits is directly related to her work and the only thing stopping him being honest with everyone all the time is that his information would spark a civil war it makes sense he'd be so candid with a person he specifically selected to be a rationalist about things like this.
