Janet Jackson’s acting was so freaking good in this movie, I wish they’d utilised her more in the first movie.
This was the time Michael died her brother during filming the second one, in the first one there was no need for her to be more utilized.

I like both movies, but this one is even better than the first because of actors' emotional performance and storyline. There's nothing to be ashamed of for being emotional MJ. It shows you have a beautiful heart. Please don't ever change for anyone.
Janet Jackson found out that her brother Michael had died while shooting for this movie so those were real raw emotions and grieving ☹️💔
What makes it worse is she was still in the Bahamas, so she wasn't able to go home right away.

I had a girl call me by another man’s name, but for some reason it didn’t phase me and I guess it was because I had already knew she was cheating.
I remember watching this back when it came out in theaters and even as a kid, I didn't feel bad for Mike even now. Having cancer sucks, I've had people in my life die from it but it doesn't mean all of the bad gets erased. Sometimes, just wishing them well and leaving the conversation there is what has to happen

Controversial opinion but… I don’t really think Diane was that wrong. In the first movie she stated that she didn’t want kids and compromised with her first daughter for Terry. Then Terry threatened to leave her and have a new family with another woman which probably backed Dianne into a corner to give him what he wanted so he wouldn’t leave. Then in the second one she said she was “ just happy he had his son”. I think Dianne was using work and Phil as ways to escape the home she didn’t want. And Terry got everything at Diane’s expense. Does not excuse her emotional cheating but I could totally understand and sympathize with her.

I understand some people want the character, "Mike" to be in the movie, just for drama. He should not brought his a** to the trip, because he must have forgot all the vile things he did the last trip. The men should have cut him off, but they let him back in the circle, although the wives don't like him. I gotta say, the actor, Richard T. Jones really played the hell out of the role in the first and second movie, gotta give credit when it's due.
Also, Janet's emotions were so raw, because of the passing of her brother Michael Jackson. It was unscripted, but it was intense. It's okay to cry, this was an emotional rollercoaster.

Janet Jackson was really going through this emotion while filming the movie because her amazing brother Michael died. I didn’t know anything about it like I do now because back then I was 9 years old. It was great to have Tyler Perry be there for her. It’s like he was being family to her when Michael died.
Janet went TF off in that one scene. She did her thing. I like the first one much better, but this one is very entertaining
I love both of these movies but I would have to say this one was one of my favorite ones. Such an emotional & powerful film.

This movie made me realize just how in tune with each other spouses should be. The fact that Terry could tell how different his wife's actions were, when stereotypically men are known for not paying attention to their wives and missing small details, made me revise what I require in a potential significant other.
