This looks like a 99% amazing figure. I'm so glad that you have a positive review of it. Most others, as you said, called it a nightmare. The only thing I find quite annoying are the faces (or, what is on the back of them when "Hidden"). Hopefully someone can come up with a fix for those goofy faces that replace the normal faces. And I love your skit, with the Ambidextrous quote, hilarious.
In my Headcanon, i always pictured Punch/Counterpunch, Armada Sideways, and DoubleDealer as mercs seeing as they don't own any Alligence to both the Autobots and Decepticons when working together for the highest bidder.
Punch has that W rizz 😂. Also, I love the concept of him, but I feel like it would only work if Punch was kept completely secret, even from other Autobots aside from Optimus, and the Decepticons ONLY know of Counterpunch. And, if course, hide that Autobot symbol.
The smile face on the back of his head in Autobot mode reminded me of the scene in the first harry potter movie where they reveal that Voldemort is on the Back of the head of the teacher
I'll be honest this was one of my favorite toys growing up. I wish they would have made one more head swap that had the faceplate like the original toy. I would paint the back of the heads black so it blends better but that's just me. I need to order him.
I have to admit most of the tabs on my X-Transbots Bond-James were way too tight to the point where I had to break out a pick to help wiggle them free.
Looks great I just wish people would be more accepting of parts forming I would have loved panels on the bottom to cover up all that openness But as usual Emgo does it best

I fI get this guy I'm definitely going to get some Autobot and Decepticon symbols and place them on that rotating section on Punch's/Counterpunch's hood. And have punch convert from vehicle to robot mode without having to put on his Decepticreep disguise as Counterpunch. And I'll be using his cartoon-accurate head instead of the other head that he already has. And I'm also wondering if you can have Punch go from robot to alt mode without having to put on his disguise as Counterpunch.
So there is actually a Japanese version that matches the Headmaster cartoon with different faces, and also how the US G1 Punch figure looked with the masked face. US is MX-26A, Japanese is MX-26B.
Punch/Counterpunch has : D face on his Visible Head. X-Transbots has really come a long way in their products, once their stuff was very mid but their recent figures have all been pretty cool and well designed. I really wish they didn't put those big stickers on top of the tech specs on the box, though. I'm gonna need that Nightbeat they're making, I need detective-bot in my collection!

As I said in a previous comment, I feel like the only way his story would work is if Punchs existence was kept top secret from most Autobots, except Optimus himself, and Punch reported SOLELY to him, as opposed to the Cons, who would only know of Counterpunch.
Mine came today, nov 29th. 5 min out of the box, and I snapped the spoiler off just by touching it. I waited months on this pre-order . I tried to super glue it, but you ever tried, then you know how that ends. Glue stains on the paint, and it just breaks right off as soon as you touch it. Total BS.
Emgo, I wasn't sure if you getting any of these latest Xtransbots figs, I didn't see a review for the Ferrari guy and I got my Bond-James fig earlier in November. I had to watch other channels for a transforming review, which i must say are not as good as yours - I won't mention names, but one guy never keeps the camera actually focused on the parts he's working on, and another guy constantly breaks his figs and throws them around, LOL.
I really love watching the reviews of third-party figures (partly because when I get one these Emgo's vids are the only way I can transform them the first few times) But, is it just me or do some of these things seem SEVERELY over-engineered... Like, there wasn't another way to make a decent filled out leg without a body part exploding into a hentai-nightmare of kibble before folding back together like a combination Rubik's cube and jigsaw puzzle? I long for a simple but good-looking third party with decent articulation... :)

Also there's a WFC Siege figure that has Punch/Counterpunch and he comes with Barricade, so if you have Barricade you can probably put him in a scene in which Barricade has found out Punch's secret and is chasing him through the streets of Cybertron. Also which of this guy's selves do you like the most? And for the other cartoon-accurate head I like the way Punch's face looks and Counterpunch's face looks more menacing!
hey emgo longtime viewer here, just curious to how long you play around with a figure until you're ready to make a review? this question should be separated to consumer figures and masterpiece/third party seeing as consumer figure are easy as pie to transform.
it depends on the figure. easier stuff I'll mess with for a day before it goes in front of the camera. For more complicated stuff it'll be a few days before I feel ready to put it in front of the camera.
They need to just package a downloaded your link to the transformations instead of the instructions. Like my god I didn’t understand anything that was going on for this transformation if it wasn’t for this video.
Emgo ask why the panels on the back don't open more well simple answer to that question Xtransbots a company that put features on their figures that are not necessary specially on vehicle modes like pop up headlights or functional doors you know things most people won't use when displaying their figures but because of dumb features like those they always have to over engineer their figures which leave them open to qc issues not to mention crappie materials that cannot handle the over engineering and even though their figures look good they always end up with qc issues up the ying yang and not worth the prices they for
